Both timers in the set work fine. The display is large and easy to read. The alarm has two volume settings. At first, it wasn't clear how to change the alarm volume, but their customer support people seemed to be ready to take care of any problems.The only downside I'd note is that an immediate review, like this one, cannot reflect how long both devices will continue to function correctly. That's Amazon's problem, though

you can enter the time and it doesn't have the annoying beep-beep that goes with the time being set. Plus there is a choice of whether I want it to ring loud or a normal beep. They turn off if left unused and that saves the battery and they supplied a battery for each one. I love them.

Timer works well. Only gave it 4 stars because I purchased for my hearing impaired mother, and I was expecting it to be louder than it is from the description when I purchased it. Very easy to use and most people would be able to hear it. The price for two timers is very good.

Using one of these as a kitchen timer for brewing tea and have the other in reserve. We had a similar timer of another brand but the on/off button became unreliable, sometimes requiring multiple pushes. This one seems crisp and the tone is clear and loud. Also like that they come provided with batteries. Very happy so far.

I am happy with this purchase -- nice big buttons and display; loud enough on low setting (although I do usually have it close at hand). Auto shut off saves on batteries, although it does stay on while in use, which is reasonable. Not used long enough to evaluate battery life.

My son uses these to time himself for tooth brushing (one is stuck inside the medicine cabinet door, magnetically) and his online homework, trombone practice, icing injured foot, etc (we keep that one on the dining room table). They are easy for him to use on his own, not obnoxiously loud, auto off display.

This is my 2nd order of these timers. I love and I can actually hear the alarm from a room away. As good as they are, they are not indesyructible. One fell in a pot of boiling water and the other left out on the grill for a week.
