A very smart way to tag your luggage. The app is quick to download, easy to use and very efficient to register your tag. The tag, perfect size, awesome looking and great for the price. I hope, it doesn't get 'stolen' at the airport as it normally happens, I will be getting a few replacements, just in case.

The company advertises as making your luggage smart, by tagging it with a QR code label, that you have to purchase, download the application, register the tag, and fill out information.It is true that you fill out the information once, and afterwards you get your cell, open the application, and choose what information will be available when someone scans the tag.The description of GPS enabled tracking is misleading. This tag does not have a gps module in it.And here comes the part, where I think the tag becomes pretty useless. Let's assume you lose your luggage. Now you depend on someone, a good Samaritan, who after spotting your luggage, will take the time to stop whatever they are doing and decides to approach an abandoned piece of luggage (is there anything dangerous in it, is someone watching it from afar) , to grab their cellphone, and if they have a QR scanner app installed, scan the tag.Once the tag is scanned, and the good Samaritan visits the unknown (to them) website, the owner of the tag will get an email, and the Tagonce app will show "the view" with some information. The good Samaritan will have the option to send you a message from the Tagonce website. I have attached pictures of what I received when I scanned my own tag. The location in the map was off by a mere 30 miles (48km) or so.In summary, all that this tag does it to have a unique link to a website that has all your information. The link can be read by a QR Code reader or an NFC tag reader. Remember, the good Samaritan has to visit the website, for the system to work. Pretty useless huh?Besides, prior to registering one of my tags, I contacted customer service to clarify doubts about how the system worked, for example, if I could change the registration on a tag once i had registered it, etc. and DID NOT get a reply from Tagonce.Your alternative is a written temporary or permanent tag, that anyone can read without the need of a smartphone or QR reader app, and that will take you 30 seconds to fill out.

As a product concept it is a great idea - the only problem is the product design. On a recent trip from London to Los Angeles I had all my checked in luggage sporting Tagonce tags.Upon arrival, one of my two suitcases was missing a tag, however the nylon loop included with the tag was still wrapped around the suitcase handle. This was obviously due to a tag breaking and falling off.In future it may be better to make the tag out of aluminium, or it may be an idea to fortify the hole on the tag with a metal ring to prevent breakage.

I like the idea of a product however it didn't survive the return journey, as I found that the product snapped when I picked the luggage up from the luggage carousel/ baggage claim

This Is the 4th tag that I have bought. The first was for me and the second and third for my daughters. This one is a present for my friend who holidays several times a year. Easy to use. Unobtrusive but does the job. Connects easily with the app.

Great idea, my sons weren't as impressed as I was though.

Really expensive for what it is but a good idea. I wish it were cheaper and I would buy quite a few more...
