High Quality Supplement for Great Price!
Excellent supplement that does exactly what it is supposed to do. People debate a lot about the way it dissolves in liquid and after my wife and I have been using it a while, I discovered that if you let it sit in the liquid for a few minutes the grainy textures completely disappears. That being said, I only do that if I am busy and forget I mixed it, usually I mix and immediately drink as the grainy texture is not bad. If it bothers you, let the mix sit for a short time and perfectly smooth. You can vary your dosage on how much laxative effect this has in your system. The full 1/2 teaspoon is usually good for me but occasionally I cut it in half to 1/4 tsp, if needed...Buy and you won't be disappointed!! Quality at affordable price!!

HELLO FULL NIGHT'S SLEEP!
I have been struggling with chronic insomnia for over a decade. I have tried nearly everything under the sun - OTC remedies, prescription sleep aids, melatonin, 5-HTP supplements, hypnosis, acupuncture. Everything sorta worked - if I was lucky, I could get 4 hours of sleep (with Ambien and Lunesta, but ended up with a hangover), but usually I could count on 3 hours, tops. Recently I started looking into a Paleo diet, and came across a back-of-the-book recommendation for a particular brand of magnesium citrate as a way to increase sleep and energy and decrease anxiety. So I did a little research, though it was worth a shot.This. Stuff. Works. The first night, I slept 9 - yes, 9! - hours. I don't think that's happened since I was an infant. I haven't needed an alarm clock for 10 years. I need one now. Normal people don't get giddy about the necessity of an alarm clock, but I am thrilled.Granted, I have not used any other Magnesium Citrate Powder, so I don't know if this is better than any others. I chose this one because it seemed like a good value. It arrived quickly, and the packaging is a high-quality resealable bag (that you can actually reseal). I prefer the flat bag to other brands that arrive in a tub, as this takes up much less space and the container will shrink along with the supply. I keep it in the fridge, though all the package recommends is 'cool, dark and dry', so I suppose it a cabinet would be fine, too.I am using a heaping 1/2 teaspoon mixed into ~4 ounces of cool water. It's a very fine powder, has no taste, and it's like drinking chalk water. I take it before heading upstairs for the night, and have been falling asleep within 30 minutes, staying asleep, and feeling amazing the next day.Highly recommended - I will absolutely re-order this product!

Helpful for anxiety and insomnia. Tasteless, slightly gritty, needs to be stirred to stay in suspension
I have troublesome insomnia, and usually need an Ambien to get me to sleep. I can't take Ambien every night, or it stops working, so I've been experimenting with different relaxing and sedative supplements to help me nod off, and to fight my near-constant anxiety.I also take anti-anxiety medications, and used to be on anti-depressants. I might have to return to the anti-depressants, but I'm interested in managing my mental illness with less medications right now (usually I am on four different scripts at once).I do let my Dr know about everything I'm doing/taking - an important thing to do when you're on prescription medications, since there can be bad interactions. Just be safe!Pros:- Knocks me right out in the evenings (1/2 teaspoon) - works within a half hour.- Calming during the day when I sip it with Inositol.- Zero taste - yay! It's not yucky. :)- Pure product, with no fillers - makes it really easy to work with.Cons:- Gritty texture (fine grit, though, not coarse).- Needs constant stirring to stay in suspension. These cons are not really a big deal. The magnesium is easy to quaff, so I am thankful. It's not like L-Tryptophan, which tastes like wax shavings, clumps up in a big mess, and refuses to enter into any sort of suspension with water.I just mix the magnesium in a pint glass with the slightly sweet taste of my powdered Insositol (a Vitamin 8 by Jarrow Brand), and sip it over the course of ten minutes. I just have to remember to stir it, or the magnesium falls out of suspension and sits in the bottom of my glass. After around a half hour (in the evenings), I feel super drowsy, and am able to nod right off. Even on my couch. I'm super impressed, and plan to keep this puppy around in my pharmacopia. If I take this mix during the day, I feel definitely calmer. If the anxiety is really bad, it won't be enough, but for most days, the magnesium is great, and I'm happy I discovered it.

Great price for easily absorbed magnesium
Seems just like any other magnesium citrate I've used. Much cheaper than buying capsules. Watch the dosage carefully(actually measure it) as it is easy to take too much and get diarrhea. I recommend no more than 1/2 of a teaspoon at a time and take with food. Probably start with 1/4 of a teaspoon to see how you handle it. I take either of those doses 2 to 4 times per day. More doses is better than riding the line of overdoing it. Taste is mild when mixed with a 20 ounce vanilla whey protein shake made with almond milk. It's there but not awful. Kinda gross in small amounts of water but the taste doesn't linger. Helps with healing muscles and bruising and improves sleep quality. Helps with muscle cramping too. Good for bones. Magnesium deficiency is rampant across most of the world, if you want to get yours assessed get a red blood cell test done, serum magnesium tests are not an accurate gauge. This is good for basic supplementation but if you need a lot I recommend getting a variety of better absorbing high quality chelates of magnesium, Poliquin Group is my preferred source. Adding topical forms in addition to oral supplementation will elevate levels faster than oral alone, apply topical creams to affected areas (sore/tight/cramped/bruised) or the backs of the knees if possible. The skin there is thin and facilitates optimal absorption.
