Angel Prayers Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray (2014-10-06) Cards – 1674

Perhaps I received a bad batch I don't know. So I received the box, outside looked great and sturdy but as I was separating the cards I heard a crackling sounds and thought "well that can't be good", once separated I saw the color removed (see pictures) and then I thought ok maybe its just one or two cards, NOPE, the whole deck came out like this. The deck itself felt like it was literally glued together, it took me two hours to very carefully separate the cards and still this is how they came out, and I actually have about 7 cards that I haven't separated because they just won't budge. I've never had to take that kind of time or worry when separating cards. That being said, as far as the actual images go, I LOVE IT, the images are gorgeous but the card quality itself was a nightmare !!

I have many decks, but this one is special. Having read his books (Kyle Gray), the latest one Angel Prayers, I already feel connected to the deck. First, I actually read the guidebook and having so many decks now, I usually don't bother, because they tend to all be the same. Not this deck! I was pleasantly surprised to be able to read and recognize Kyle's unique approach to the angels even with suggested card layouts. The deck is still new to me so I haven't read all the card meanings, but the few I did read for the first cards I pulled, were easy to relate to and brought a smile to my face. I went through each card in the deck carefully enjoying the diversity, symbolism and positive affirmations, and what he thoughtfully chose to include with the angels. I even loved how the silver edging sparkled once I shuffled the deck a few times. The cards themselves have some nice weight to them and feel good in my hands. I know they will serve me well for a long time to come.

Here's the thing – I fell in love with this oracle deck's digital app, so I had to get it. When the deck arrived, the cards were glued together like a solid brick and it took me about a half an hour to separate them. This may have been from the silver paint finish around the edges but they were all stuck together terribly and when they were separated a lot of the paper pulled off. At this moment this is my newest deck, yet it looks like my oldest. All the borders on every single card have been affected. I actually had to glue one card. Is this how they all are arriving for everyone who orders? Or was this deck maybe kept in a very hot storage building and the card was humid and sweat? That said, the artwork is the same as the digital app yet more muted – not as vibrant. Plus all that silver finish flaked off everywhere. I guess maybe I'm feeling a little disappointed lol so - my advice to Kyle, is a next time you print cards - skip the silver paint around the edge of the card and go with a more glossy high-quality paper.

My daughter and I talk to our angels, and we teach others how to connect with their angels via YouTube.I bought these cards because they called my attention. I have a friend of mine who also connects with angels and does angel healing and she had bought Kyle's Keepers of Light and I was drawn to them, but when I saw these cards I was immediately connected.I got them, my daughter saw them and she pulled them out and asked me to ask a question, so I did. I told her when to stop, and sure enough my angel's card was drawn. My angel's name is Azrael, and that's the angel card that was drawn, and everything Azrael had told me while I meditate and angel write, she told me. I taught her to pull the card and place it on her heart and feel the message coming through.I then told her, I think these cards are meant for you, you're obviously jiving with them. I asked to her ask the cards and pull a card, and the card drawn was; Trust Your Vibes.I went ahead and just purchased one set for me, and will buy Keepers of Light in the future.

This was my first ever deck. I have never regretted it. Kyle is very pure. I resonate more with him than with other card deck authors out there because I find that he is not as commercial. I hope that with his fame, he will remain the same. Another advantage of this deck compared to many others is that even if angels are not humans and have no gender, this deck does a good job of being culturally sensitive which very few decks are. I figure if angels are going to be depicted as humans, why not depict them like all humans are, vs. like some humans are? Kyle's work is always very sensitive to that. In this deck, you have angels with tattoos, angels of different races, angels with different types of hairs, etc. Another thing about Kyle, he is humble. In each of his classes he says "we are equal. Never put anyone including me above you. Do not give your power away." For me this is rare. Lots of integrity. I think you will like this deck. He is a clear vehicle for the light. (I find)

My deck came in today and I am very pleased with the cards. They are just thick enough and workable for shuffle after some time spent using them. The art work on the cards is really nice and the guide book is full of information. I have to call them a great buy.

I can only comment on the physical quality of the cards as I never got to use them. The gold edging around the deck made it impossible to separate the deck with out ripping and destroying them (like ended up happening with mine) as they were all painted together. From what I can see though, of the actual cards; nice artwork and well thought out messages.Too bad the production of the cards seems poorly executed.

Delivery of item was nothing short of amazing HOWEVER the quality of product falls short. The card stock used was very thin and it became obvious once I tried to separate the deck that the silver edges were painted on while the deck was compressed. As a result of that process there were several cards that were hard to pull apart and 4 that were impossible to pull apart. I am pretty sure I will be returning this item because if you can utilize all 44 cards what's the point of having a deck? If you've ever used the Angel deck by Doreen Virtue and you are expecting the same quality you will be disappointed.
