Auras: How to See, Feel & Know

Excellent info, with a great story to go with it!
This book is a pretty thorough explanation of what auras are and even how to see, feel and interpret them. It's not a boring academic or "snooty" lecture on metaphysics. It's written well, and has many personal anecdotes throughout to really help relate to the author and how he developed his theory and method.I consider myself open minded, but I do view everything with a skeptical eye until I learn the facts and figures of a given subject to form my own opinions. That being said, auras were a new subject to me outside of briefly hearing them mentioned, seeing them in movies, etc.I love how the author begins with general information on the science and theory as well as his childhood and upbringing. This alone makes it such a wonderful read compared to many new age and metaphysical books. There are exercises to help build the skills needed to view auras on your own, and the author states some people will grasp it very quickly some will need more training. I didn't really follow any of the exercises, except for the 3d poster type one as I love doing them anyway. I'm never quick with seeing the 3d image and he states you need to be able to "see" the 3d image within an instant of looking at the image. As I mentioned I'm skeptical about most things, but the author has a sound theory and explains it very well , so I don't dismiss this idea at all. However I didn't pick up this book to really learn how to see auras. My main objective was to learn about them and that I did, and I am extremely happy with the content.I do not have the desire or willpower to train my eyes every day, but I'm confident that if you do it will be easy to have success. I think part of my unwillingness may be due to not really wanting to see auras, or perhaps not knowing what to do with that extra insight or knowledge into the unknown. But if you don't have the same hesitation, and are willing to put out the effort, you will not be disappointed!

Awesome book!
This is an excellent book for people interested in really understanding auras and how they "work". Beginners will enjoy this as well, and people just looking for a fun and interesting read. Honestly I knew nothing about this stuff, and now that I've read this I think it's a really interesting concept! Doing the exercises in the book, I still have yet to see any traces of auras, but my eyes feel a lot better in general, and focus a whole lot easier than they did. I actually have low-prescription glasses that I have to wear most of the time, but I after reading the book and doing everything it says, I find that I can go a lot longer without them now! :) All the exercises not only help in what he's working the reader toward, but also just help in general! Even the physical exercises! The book is also a bunch of simple, easy, 1-2-3 steps that are not difficult to follow although they explain and get us to do things that are so complex! The author has a nice flowing style of writing that's easy to understand. He puts some of his own experiences with auras into the book too, so we aren't just reading a guide without giving examples or explanations. It was awesome to have that nice storyline feeling to it going on in the background :)Overall it was a totally awesome book, for beginners or people really wanting to learn this or for those looking for an interesting way to spend the afternoon. Loved it!!!

Good overall.
Some of these 99 cent books are not worth it and some turn out to be better than I thought. I am happy to say this book belongs in the turned out better than I thought category. Seeing auras is not difficult. It's nothing I've tried to develop but I learned the "trick" of seeing auras awhile ago. I read some of these books out of curiosity and sometimes I learn some new things. I thought this book did a good job for the price. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the sections where Tazkuvel goes into what he's seen and his interpretations of the various things in the aura because I'm not there yet, not striving to be there in particular, and not sure how practical it would be. Everyone perceives things differently. For example a friend and I were joining energies in a small group. We both saw energy swirling counter clockwise but I saw the energy as gold with silver sparkles and he perceived the energy as red and green with sparkles. Therefore, what is said may apply to how I perceive and may not and ditto for anyone else reading the book. He touched on feeling the aura as opposed to seeing it which could work better for some. One con was that Tazkuvel uses non conventional indicators for the chakras/energy centers, namely combos of letters like VM, WZ, ZA, etc. Why he didn't stick to the conventional names most of us are familiar with like root chakra, brow chakra, etc. I don't know but I had to go back to the picture with the indicators and make note of what they were on a slip of paper so I could make sure I knew what he was referring to. I felt that was a bit of a drawback. What I hadn't seen before was his suggestion of using what's known as stereoscopic or Magic 3D pictures to help train the eyes to see auras. I noticed after using them things looked different and I could see a bit more color than before. I also liked his explanations of the aura layers and about how far away to look to see the different layers. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and thought this was well worth the small price paid for it. Certainly at 99 cents it's more than reasonable to learn a bit about the aura and perhaps even learn to see or feel them and is a good starting place. You can always look up more info on the Internet or purchase additional books.
