Review: Incredible sound for the price especially when they are driven by quality stereo equipment. - I am using these smaller tower speakers in a small room driven by a Yamaha RX-v863. Very crisp and great imaging with how I have them positioned. The Bass response is very good and impactful and would even be better I'm sure if I added an extra power amp but for now I am very content. Highly recommended especially if you can find them on sale.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can you use these in a small bedroom, a 12 x 10 or is it too much speaker?**
A: It depends on how much space you want to sacrifice. As you place the speakers away from the walls for better sound, it might get tight.
My bedroom is about the same size and I power my pair with Denon DRA-800H. I do not find them to be "too much speaker" but if I added a dedicated amplifier then sure, it would be too much.

**Q: "The long excursion powered subwoofer provides powerful, quality bass"  is not correct?  This is a passive speaker system.**
A: Apparently the description for these is wrong as there is no powered subwoofer

I am using these smaller tower speakers in a small room driven by a Yamaha RX-v863. Very crisp and great imaging with how I have them positioned. Amazing clarity of sound and these speakers are often on sale on official JBL site. I use them as TV speakers playing music and movies via TV. I use a quality budget stereo amplifier (aiyima a07 tpa3255) and a budget subwoofer (Klipsch 12” at Costco). I like the plastic matt finish of the speakers and especially the rounded edges for the front panel. The front grills seem to affect the sound at the high frequencies - try to listen with/without the grills. I also like the fact that the speakers aren’t too heavy and I can easily move them between the main room and the basement.
