I'd expect christmas lights to last more than one season's use, but after using only for a month last year, these got put away and re-used this year. After one day of use this year, they short on and off after one rain. I got them working again after drying them out inside, but I'm amazed that outdoor lights can't handle rain w/out failing. Crazy these failed after just a month and one or two rains.

I bought two sets of these lights. The lights themselves are waterproof, but the transformer is not. The first one was ruined after a rain. The transformer was full of water even after being taped at the connection and hanging from a tree. Lucky I had another transformer (because I bought two sets) and was able to completely cover the transformer with electrical tape. So far, it's held up to rain. I cannot recommend an item marketed "outdoor lights" that are not truly waterproof. Other than the transformer issue, the lights work and look great.

Used as a Christmas decoration light, my son always likes the decoration of snow. This light is like an icicle, very beautiful.

Looks really nice on the trees once they lit up. You might need extension cord to hook it up to your garage for power though.One order comes with 8 tubes and I’ll definitely get a few for the visual.

Not waterproof. They did not last 3 weeks. Flimsy.

They did not work. However, I'm still looking.

Out of the box, these lights did not work - not even with a transformer from other identical lights. Probably a waste of money
