L'ouvrage rend bien compte de la vie et de la guerre dans la "guerre du Bush". Écrit juste après les événements, les auteurs s'appuient essentiellement sur les positions sud-africaines. Mais les photos sont remarquables et rendent bien compte de l'âpreté des combats.Une réédition salutaire.

A good account of a long-drawn-out conflict (in which I was a reluctant participant). Doesn't go into much detail, but provides a useful overview.

As a veteran of the campaign, this brought some memories. A very good book for anyone interested in the forgotten bush-wars of the time.

Great book, well done.

A detailed, factual history of the War with many photos. The strategies, tactics, training, equipment, politics etc.are all there. A must - read for war buffs, particularly those who are interested in the making oftoday's Southern Africa.

having grown up and been part of the war. I find the book filled in some gaps that i did not even known then. I find the book to be a non-bias view. Thank you
