For sure better than a plastic one
Ok so I bout this toothbrush about few months ago, and I finally decided to write that I'm super happy with it.)) It is very soft (!) which is amazing and i like it because its healthy for teeth and what is also very nice about it it's very easy to clean, easier than the plastic one. usually the toothpaste is always stuck to brush and in a few weeks its getting gross and old looking, so that's doesn't happen to this bamboo one, it's also doesn't get mold, I saw a lot reviews that people getting mold on their wood toothbrushes, well my bathroom is super small, hot and steamy and the mold easily can appear anywhere but let me tell you this I'm using it now for about 2 months and it still looks like bran new!) I'm so happy!)) And of course it also makes me happy to know that it's all organic for the world, no plastic toothbrushes in the ocean)))

Will order again
Great to use for limited waste. The bristles do come off easy.Edit: After using for several months and I had to use a plastic one for an overnight trip. That's when I noticed that on a plastic toothbrushes you tend not to have toothpaste and/or a water slide down the handle because there are grooves in the plastic toothbrush handle. There are no grooves in this bamboo handle. This might not be an issue for some but it is something worth noting. Your toothpaste or water will slide down the handle if you're not careful. This does not change my 4 star review of this product.

Eco friendly
I like how it's eco-friendly and biodegradable. The bristles were not soft. I don't know why other reviewers say so. So far they have not fallen out. I will update if they have. Ideally, you are suppose to throw out toothbrush per month anyway. The bristles though poke at my gum even though I don't brush my teeth harshly. They even poke some blood out. It's one factor you need look out for when purchasing this product. The charcoal in the bristles does not stain your teeth .Edit: The bristles start falling out after two months.

Great eco-friendly toothbrush
I was tired of buying plastic, disposable toothbrushes. I looked for a green alternative and found bamboo toothbrushes. I've been trying different brands. These Kimz toothbrushes are soft, clean well and are a pleasure to hold (esp. knowing they are biodegradable). My only complaint is that over time a cluster of bamboo bristles will come out while brushing leaving you with an unpleasant "there's hair in my mouth" sensation. I hope they can improve that over time. Otherwise, a very nice bamboo toothbrush (packaged in cardboard, not paper - woohoo)!

Nice toothbrush
Super soft bristles, way softer than my soft toothbrush I already had, so that was awesome to feel because I hate hard toothbrushes (it's also bad for your enamel, so there's that).I use it with my Hello charcoal tooth paste and I love the cleanliness. I've only used this for 4 days now (since I recieved them), so I don't have any input on durability. It's still in great shape no issues,I use bamboo cutting boards, so I do know you need to keep your bamboo oiled up, or it splinters. So I might coat these in coconut oil to prevent that. The toothbrushes were made well, well rounded, bristles weren't coming out. Will never go back to plastic toothbrushes now. It's 2021 now and I still use this type of toothbrush I also use cornstarch toothbrushes.

I don't like the handles.
The head is roughly half the size of the brush that it's replacing. It does a good job of cleaning, and is easy on my gums. The handle is cut into an elongated figure-8-like shape and is uncomfortable to hold. It can be somewhat annoying trying to turn the brush to address other teeth because the void in handle causes slipping. If this had a straight handle I'd give it 5 stars. By the way, I've got fairly large hands.Update: I whittled down the end of the handle, and I can manipulate the brush easier (see pic).

So far so good
So far so good! Have been using mine for about 2 weeks. The very first brushing was a little strange to get used to the bamboo feeling in my mouth, but after that it's been fine. I haven't had any issues with splintering, and I've only lost 3 little bristles which hasn't been a big deal to me. The bristles are a great soft yet strong texture. I dry the handle with my hand towel after every use to avoid any potential mold issues.I will be giving these out for Christmas to get friends and family on board with ditching plastic toothbrushes!
