I rarely write unfavorable reviews. Quick background so you understand I know what I am talking about.I've been surf fishing for 40 years, mostly in Florida and the OBX of NC. I am always looking for new products that will make my life easier at the back of my truck with lines in the water. I bought these clips because I thought they would make life easier while surf fishing. After using them for only 2 days, I abandoned the effort.Now these clips work well for their purpose, that is, attaching and switching things out like lures and leaders. Works just like a paperclip; easy on, easy off. They excel at this - however there is a HUGE drawback. The clips themselves excel at something else - snagging your line.I've never had more tangled lines than when using these clips. Almost every time I reeled in I had a tangled line. A portion of the line gets caught in the clip, then another, and another and before long you have a tangled mess that you are spent either wasting your time (untying) or your line (giving up, cutting & re-tying).Again, I thought the concept would work wonderfully, and it does: until it comes into contact with your line tumbling around in the surf. My experience is that snap swivels work almost as good with regard to swapping out rigs and better with regard to tangles.YMMV...

Big gap between wires easy to lose lure or trophy

Not the same as tactical angler clips. The wire are thicker so some smaller sized bucktail won’t fit.

Great clips, easy to use. After using these you won’t use anything else. Great price compared to other brands. Highly recommended.
