They have excellent roots and some luscious leaves. They came well secured in their pots and with plenty of moisture. I transplanted them into the ground 2 days after arrival and it's been about 2 weeks and they are doing great and I am not kidding when I say they have grown around 5 inches since getting them transplanted. I highly recommend these trees and the seller crapemyrtleguy. I am well pleased! If I get it for her for Christmas, will it last until she can plant it in the spring in about 6 months?** A: Absolutely. All crapes will go dormant soon but can be planted any time of the year as long as it's not freezing outside. Just plant on a warm sunny day or wait till Spring. If you keep them in their pots, just make sure you water them occasionally . Hope that helps. Close up picture?** A: Normally will be shipped as single stem, but all crape myrtles will naturally become multi stem/trunk trees or bushes. You will need to train to become a single trunk tree. Very simple while they are young. **Q: I am planing to order 3 4packs can u reduce shipping charge** A: The only way I know how to do this would be to refund part of the shipping. Shipping cost for 12 crapes will be about $25 and I'll refund the difference.
