HDMI Switch 2x2 HDMI Splitter 2 Inputs 2 Outputs HDMI Switcher Support 4k 1080P 3D Compatible with PS3/4 Xbox Fire Stick Roku

After reading many reviews on this and similar products, I chose this item because I thought it would allow me to extend my desktop to two monitors. I was wrong. This product is only good for mirroring the same image on two external monitors. It will extend your laptop display plus one external monitor though. I didn't like that it didn't come with a power plug. Instead you have to use up a usb port to power it. This is good and bad. Good that I don't have to have a bulky plug to figure out how to get power to, but bad that it takes up a usb port. I would rather use that usb port to get something that actually extends my desktop. Anyway, the items looks solidly build and I've decided to keep it for that reason. If I needed to buy this product again for its intended purposes - I would.

We bought a HD TV on sale, only to get home and find out that it only had 2 HDMI ports. I have 3 devices that require HDMI. This HDMI Switch was just the ticket. I had a spare HDMI cable that I used to connect the splitter to the TV, then plugged in two of the three HDMI devices on the input side. My third comes from the cable company, so I left it attached to the HDMI 1 port. With the click of a push button, I can switch between DVD player and a Fire Stick. Pretty cool. Works very nice.

It limits the resolutions that it outputs, I tried it on a projector with native resolution of 1280 x 800, but with this attached that resolution was not available on the computer, only 720 or 1080. Must have something to do with the amplifier. I bought a regular mechanical 2 into 1 switch instead and that worked fine, it was just a pass through, you could choose any resolution you liked 'cos the PC sees the projector (or monitor), not the switch.

Great price for a 4K compatible pushbutton HDMI switch. When you add this switch, do not forget to buy the correct HDMI cable you need,I connected this up to run my sat tv system on my rv. I can switch between the living room tv and the bedroom tv in my RV. It works perfect!

This unit is a matrix switcher that allows you to use two input sources and two separate output sources and switch between them.

Pretty good, and no noticeable latency at all.Just make sure you have your own HDMI cables ready and don't complain without reading how it works.

It did not really do what I wanted - it would not switch between a ROKU and my cable box. It just never went to the Roku unless the cable box was disconnected. Since I have had similar issues with other devices I kept it to switch the cable box and have decided to switch the ROkU manually.

It didn't come with the 5 V adapter, so what am I supposed to do? Cost too much to send back.
