I used another company's version of this blend (not Young Living) and they downgraded the cinnamon to Cassia Cinnamon. I didn't realize that or even understand the difference between that and Ceylon Cinnamon. I did notice that the smell had changed and my husband and I both had watering eyes when using the version with Cassia Cinnamon. We used to love that other company's blend - but it started to be an irritant. Then I came down with a cold and used that other brand's version and the next day my sinuses felt horrible. After some research, I found that some people are more sensitive to Cassia Cinnamon... I think that other blend actually made me much worse. So I searched for a new company. I really didn't want to purchase the Young Living brand based on a couple of things. I don't want to become a member of their group and I don't want to spend so much money on an oil when it doesn't even say it's organic... SO I searched for an organic version of the blend and found this company. I haven't spent that much on one bottle of essential oil because I'm still figuring out which smells we like in our house. However, every time I try to use some other blend my husband hates it so I figured I could spend more on this one. I am so glad that I did! I have wasted too much money on cheaper blends and oils that I never use.This oil arrived quickly and I still had my horrible sinus cold (I have a history of sinus infections). I used the oil in a diffuser a few feet away from where I usually hang out and by the end of the day, my sinuses were feeling much better! I was shocked at how much this oil helped me - I felt great!This company's blend does smell different than many versions because it contains orange - most use clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary only. It also uses Ceylon Cinnamon Bark which is important AND VERY EXPENSIVE!!! I initially looked at buying the single organic ingredients and the Ceylon Cinnamon Bark I found was more than this blend! I love this version - it makes me happy.As a bonus, this company seems to truly care about more than making money. I definitely recommend this product!

I love this product ! It is well worth the price. I have tried buying "thieves", from other company's and the Ethica Company product is far superior to other brands. I can tell immediately that the product is "Pure". It smells wonderful ! It is very soothing. I have seven very young grandchildren who attend elementary school and thus bring home many germs and suffer from colds. All I have to do is tuck them in bed and provide some Thieves in a nearby oil diffuser and they are instantly soothed. The children also love the aroma. My experience is that we all sleep better and breathe easier, when we use Thieves. It is also very important to me that this company adheres to their professional code of "Ethics". They care about the same things that are important to me. Providing a quality product, that uses biodegradable, recycled and sustainable packaging, made in the USA. They also hold a Conservation Champion membership with the Nature Conservancy to offset our carbon footprint and support reforestation projects.I highly recommend this product.My husband John Sajovec purchased this product, for me, at my request. Smells excellent and I think it has a excellent mix of herb oils. It isn't too sweet and isn't too savory. It has a good balance. (As some companies put too much orange in their product and it smells are citrusy. I don't like that in my thieves oil.) I have bought this one again... Oh, and it is one of the only organic thieves oils out there. (It might be the only one.) I like to go organic. I use this product in a diffuser in the bathroom. What a joy it is to use it. I truly love this product.This product puts a top seller to shame in quality. Plus, it's certified organic and they aren't.

This is a fantastic product and my first of the Ethica company oils. The aroma is so wonderful and I use it for anything from a drop on my pillowcase at night to a drop in a tablespoon of coconut oil for oil pulling and even adding a couple drops to a cotton ball and putting it in the canister of the vacuum cleaner to freshen the air while I vacuum. You can also use it on a cotton ball and keep it in or near your car vent in the winter--endless uses and great to have around during cold and flu season. I'll definitely be ordering more of the Ethica company's oils.

I haven't used this to relieve any maladies yet, so I can't attest to its efficacy in that regard. I have been using it (inhaling, leaving it on a cotton ball near the bed) at night with the hope that it will help keep me from getting sick. Knock on wood...so far, so good. I only wish they'd included some ways it can be used with the bottle. Otherwise...great!

This Thieves Medieval Elixir Essential Oil is simply wonderful. I like that it is organic, smells wonderful, and has medicinal value I was not expecting. I've recommended this to my family and friends who've enjoyed the same benefits from using it as I have. I diffuse it. I use it topically, mixed with some organic coconut oil as a carrier. I'll definitely order this product again from The Ethica Company. Great value. Thanks.

I love this company’s customer service! I don’t like this particular blend proportions... cinnamon and clove and that’s about it for what I can smell when I diffuse this oil but it is organic and I would buy single oils from Ethica... but not their blends. I will mix my own blends to get what I want.

I absolutely LOVE this essential oil. I work in a busy medical practice with lots of flu, strep, etc. I use this in my diffuser every night and have not been sick. The aroma is wonderful!
