I used these to make creme brule for 19 people. They worked perfectly. I was in a hurry and was happy I could touch them fairly quickly after removing from the oven since aluminum doesn’t hold heat very long. They are casual, which worked fine for my crew. Clean-up was a breeze since I didn’t have to wash them for re-use. I saved money and space with these disposable ramekins. I didn’t have a torch; I had to broil them at the end, so I don’t know how they would hold up to a direct flame.
