The Green Teaist Complete Matcha Set

This is a stunningly beautiful tea set! The matchachawan, or tea ceremony bowl, is absolutely beautiful, and what is not to love about the elegant lacquered tray and the real silk ceremonial placemat? The 3 piece tin 'furui' (strainer) is beautiful as it is functional. Rounding out the set is the bamboo scoop, wisk, and wisk retention (ceramic) form. I absolutely love the set! All this for a premium price of $255.00. I would give the rating 5 stars if a sample of matcha tea would have been included (enough for 2 or 3 cups)--especially since The Green Teaist have public tea salons. They are quite clear that no tea is included in this set. But, at this premium price, I think a free tea sample would be in order. Other tea companies (like The Republic of Tea, and Bana Tea) include such samples with their products. For example, from Bana Tea, I ordered a gaiwan tea cup and received 2 large samples of tea  Blossom and Leaf Chinese Gaiwan (Traditional Chinese Teaware Comprised of a Cup, Saucer and Lid) - Made in Jingdezhen . But over all, the tea set is beautiful and I am quite happy with it. Lovely, lovely, lovely. I would buy from The Green Teaist again.
