Tastes like onions and garlic sat in a shoe for 3 days. Then were covered in sugar. Real durian is way better but this is OK.

received item quickly from seller as part of a larger order. I have only tried durian once while in Southeast Asia, and also fresh durian ice cream recently and this tasted very similar. That being said I don't know how anyone would like durian, the best description I have is it tastes and smells like old garbage. (I haven't actually tasted old garbage, but it is what I would imagine it would taste like) I bought this as a gag gift to give to people and it has worked out very well.

It made me nauseous. I think im allergic, so be careful. The taste is pretty....unique, but it didn't make me gag. It definitely does taste like onions though. Definitely do NOT eat one before going out with people, because it REEKS.

After just trying this candy I began feeling sick. After being so excited to try it I was disappointed to have to throw it away.

I have tried it, and many of my friends have tried it. Nobody has liked it yet. Most of us agree that it tastes like onions, and has a long lingering after taste like funyuns, that takes many beers to get rid of. However, If you are like me and got these to see what the fruit tastes like, it sounds like that's about right.

I was hoping this would be the kind of durian that tastes sort of like almond custard. Instead it's the sort of durian that tastes like onions.But if that's your thing, great fast shipping from the seller!

I've served durian before and this is very similar. It's a great gag gift for those who haven't had it, or those who tasted the real thing and would be funny to remember. Yes it tastes like the real thing.

Bought this as a joke gift for my boyfriend. They smelled potent and neither of us could actually get one in our mouth. So, they were exactly what I wanted. We threw them out. It was a fun experience though...
