Works as advertised.
Simple to install. You don't have to be an engineer to hook this up. Works great even detects remote from 20+ feet away. And I plugged the USB power feed into one of the USB plugs on the back of my TV.. So when I turn on the TV, the repeater is powered up and ready to work. If you having a hard time finding the sensor on the unit you are trying to connect to, just have someone push the up-down buttons on the remote while you slowly move the repeating eye across the front of the unit. when the unit starts to respond to commands just push the self stick adhesive to hold in place. Good price too.

Great for wall mounted TVs
I bought this item because I mounted my TV to the wall and didn't want to stair at my cable box. Consequently, I was able to relocate it behind the wall and use this remote extender repeater to control both my cable box and blu ray player. They have worked flawlessly since installation. This was the least expensive and easiest solution I could find when researching my options. It was worth the $30 gamble, and it has paid off immensely.

Worth the money spent....
Product works as described and little better. Order was placed on Saturday and delivered on Monday. Not a detail instruction sheet, but not very complicated. I set it up in 5 mins. The remote worked for about 20 ft, not even pointing straight at the receiver. Worth the money spent, Only TV on the wall all other components in a different room.

Dead on Arrival
I returned this product because it simply didn't work. It did not relay my IR remote signals despite multiple attempts to configure it with different USB ports for power and different remotes / TVs (I wanted to make sure it wasn't working just with one type of TV). I assume the device was defective. Upon examination, the plastic of the IR sensor didn't fit together well; and assembly of the shrink tubing left some exposed wire on the IR emitter; so I elected not to replace with the same brand. I purchased a competing device of different design which worked instantly in all the configurations that this device failed.

Well worth the price to hide your components.
Excellent results after 2 months now. I use this so I can leave the doors closed on my cabinet to keep the cats out. I Plugged it into the USB port on my Uverse box for power, stuck one sensor over the IR detector on my Samsung TV and one over the Uverse box detector. Works from a 90 degree angle side to side.

works well, love not having to open the cabinet
This works really well and is pretty discreet. I've had it for a long time and no malfunctions. It was easy to set up and worked immediately. I wish some of the cords were a little longer but it's not a problem, I still need to find a better place to put the infrared sensor so it's not on the top of my sound bar. I should mention, it works for video game playing too, so it's responsive.

Cheap and Satisfied!
Ok.. My wife wants everything on the shelf to look nice.. regardless if the placement of devices impedes their function. In this case the control via remote..there were only two exact locations where our remotes would work. so I had to do something to calm my own nerves.I bought this set because it was cheap just to try it out..Now I don't even have to be pointing the remote directly at our stuff for it to work.Simple installation. USB power and BAM! The cables are of decent length (was my first fear) and they are quite thin so they hide nicely. The Receiver pod blinks when it gets signal from the remote so that is a definite plus. What else can I say? I'm totally happy!

It worked great until I had to start to move cables behind ...
It worked great until I had to start to move cables behind the TV. Then I realized it was pretty cheaply made. I ripped off an emitter. The next time I moved cables, the second one broke.I looked at the recent prices and did buy a replacement single one. When you get them under $10, I guess you just have to assume they aren't going to last. So hopefully, I will be more careful with kid gloves on this one in the event I have to move things.I used this to hide an Apple TV 100% behind the TV set. It's wall mounted TV with sound bar and 4 HDMI cables going to the TV. Lot going on back there. I'd say buy one but keep in mind, you get what you pay for. If I paid $40 or $50 for this I'd have been upset.
