We use it for butter when we have crabs and clams.Most dedicated butter warmers hold a very small amount of butter. We needed something that holds 2-3 sticks so we bought this and a small stainless pot. It works perfect.

Would have given it 5 stars but it came dirty/ used.

This unit is very well made.. I have not used it as yet, but have no doubt it will perform well.

It is a perfect fit for my teapot and the price was a plus. Thank you!
