If your child is tall go ahead and get the adult size. I got this for a ten year old who is tall for her age. I wish I would've gotten the larger size now, it will probably come up to her waist or a little higher at the most. If in doubt go with the bigger size, I'd much rather have gotten one too long then too short...

As advertised, a fun little mermaid tail blanket for the kiddos, pretty thin material so it's not going to save your life if you're stranded in the mountains, but good for kicking around the house (see what I did there :) and snuggling up with a book etc.

I got this for my little sister and I havent yet given this to her because its for Christmas but upon opening its soft knit confortable blanket and im 99.9% sure she would love it

Only the one side comes up high, and I get why it is knitted like that, but would love to have one that comes up high on both sides. My daughter loves it, uses it all the time.

Granddaughter loved her mermaid blanket. I don't think it has been washed yet, however.
