Will this shelf fit a 2006 dodge sprinter van?

We ordered this product for a 2017 Mercedes Benz sprinter, so not sure about your Dodge model.  If you go to the "Automotive Parts and Accessories category, there is a selector in the upper left that allows you to input the year and model.  If the selector indicates this part will fit the 2006 Dodge, I would have good confidence in that recommendation based on prior experience.  This part was easy to install (but needs two people) and is good quality.

    I am not sure...but feel pretty confident you could...installs just above side widows using manufacturer bolt holes...contact RB Components...best thing i did for my van conversion...you don’t even realize it’s there while driving

Will the airbags in the 2018 sprinter that are over the doors still be able to function with the shelf in place?

HelloOOOooo...Hey. Hey.
    can't really answer because those airbags have never been applied...but looks to me they should be just fine...shelf installed above above the plastic trim where the airbags are located...i am pretty sure those are the airbags you are talking about......regardless...(my opinion)...even if that were an issue, i would still install this shelf anyway...fits perfect and absolutely very handy...you really don't even notice it's there...hence, some neoprene rubber with red sticker on shelf  edge from bumping my head...don't use now since very used to it...easy to install with the right tools...2 person job since you can't reach 2 sides at the same time to tighten the front bolts...the window visors fit very well (hard to get off and even broke part of the visor mount, which now i didn't need with this shelf "whoo-hoo:)...though i added small pieces sticky back velcro to close tighter (though not neccessary)...i did think about building my own since i'm pretty handy with this sort of thing...but very glad i spent the $$$...very professional looking and super strong (i can hang on it)...just plain looks good...you will be very happy with it...i sure am...!
