This is the second time I purchased this splitter. It was the only splitter I could find that allows for phone calls thru non-Bluetooth car speakers.The first splitter worked fine for about 2 months, then the plug going into the phone broke.I purchased the same splitter again and when I went to use it, only the right side car speakers were working. The left side speakers worked fine with my radio and CD player, but not at all with this splitter.I am returning this 2nd splitter. I purchased a Belkin Lightening Audio and Rockstar Charger, which was twice the price but I noticed immediately the sound quality was much better.I would recommend spending the additional money for a higher quality splitter.

Purchased a splitter for my iPhone as it is described as compatible. Plugged it in out of the box and it did not work. Amazon exchanged it for me in what was a painless process. The 2nd one worked the first time I used it so I thought it is good, the first one was just bad. Well... now I try to use it again and it won't work. This is basically junk unfortunately, I would not waste your time

The item does NOT WORK, regardless of whether or not you have the charging attached. iPhone 7 with iOS 12.1.2, audio will not work but charging will, which is NOT the problem - duh - people buy these to be able to (listen closely here...) PLAY AUDIO while charging. JUNK. Returning (Amazon's return policies are great!) and buying something completely different. Whoever got this to work is lucky or didn't test its functionality correctly.

This lasted about one month before it stopped working. This is the second one I bought. The first only lasted a couple of months.

I have an otterbox defender case on my phone and it did not fit in the case so I can only use this with my iPad which does not have a case on it which restricts the space around the connector

Only used it a few times and already having issues with one side not working well. Getting device not recognized and/or nothing coming through at all like when a charging cable starts to go bad.

This splitter has not worked for me. Do not purchase this splitter if you have anI phone. The company states that it is compatible, but I have not found that to be accurate. It did not work even one time. It would not charge.

I'm not sure how long it's lasted other buyers, but I ordered mine 11/20/18, 3 months later the charging port stopped working. Also there was a lot of intermittent static when you're listening to audio. Not likely to try to buy again.
