CHURCH 300TCA 000 Toilet Seat, ROUND, Plastic, White

I just received the seat yesterday and am happy with it. Just beware that this model must have been "improved" because it is different than the photo. I bought this seat to replace the Church seat that I've had since 2006. For some reason the old seat got a hairline crack and I wanted that same seat to replace it. My old seat looks just like the photo in every way. The lid on the new seat is curved on the edges so that the lid covers the seat instead of resting on top of the seat. With the cover closed, you do not see the seat at all. I guess it is a more modern look, but I prefer the old style. Still, the seat is well made and I don't regret my purchase. It fits my Eljer 1.6 gallon elongated toilet well.

I would not ordinarily write a review of a toilet seat but the Church set and lid is exceptional in that it actually looks good and fits the lines of my new Kohler elongated toilet bow.The one negative is that the screws to hold it down are made from soft nylon. Even with an oversized Phillips head screwdriver it was difficult to tighten them adequately without damaging the screw head. I may end up replacing them with brass ones. For a above average priced seat cover it is unfortunate that the product manager chose such poor fastening bolts.

It might seem weird to buy a toilet seat online, but for me, it was easier than driving to town and standing in lines. :-)

Love the fact that there are 4 supports under the seat, not just 2 like so many seats have now. Very sturdy & secure when you sit on it; doesn't give or bend if you push on it to steady or support yourself when you get up. My husband is a large man who injured his knee several years ago and has had several seats break; all of which only had 2 supports, the 1 that hasn't broken has 4. The only thing I would like to see improvement on is the fact that the lid is light weight & clicks when you close it, unless you really close it easily.

I have had this brand before and they were well made, this one is light weight, cheaply made and even though it should fit a standard toilet for round seats, the size is a bit small.Not worth the money.

An excellent product. I'm a retired licensed master plumber and this actually is "The best seat in the house" as the Church company used to say. It's also quite easy to install and never will loosen up. Clean just with soap water using no abrasives and glossy finish should last a very long time.

Looks great. However, doesn't have a soft-close hinge. Not sure how i missed that, but I did. Beware.

Looks like it will last awhile. Fit well on the toilet. Like it much better than my previous wooden seat.
