I like a lightweight towel for the summer months and these towels are perfect. They are absorbent, dry quickly and the bath towel esp. is a generous size. I liked the first set that I purchase in pale yellow so much that I bought a second set in light pink and will most likely purchase another set. I like the pale colors for my bathroom. They wash well, dry quickly and they stay soft. Great item for a very good price. Highly recommend.

I bought a set in pale yellow and it is a very nice color. I like that they are thin - they take up less room in the linen closet and washer. But the very best thing about these towels is how well they dry. I don't even need to rub. I drape it over my legs, arms, everywhere and just pat dry - completely dry - and so quickly. I bet I could get dry just using the hand towel. It get excess water out of my hair better than anything. I also had one snagged thread but it's not a big deal to me, I just snipped it off. I'm going to donate all my cotton towels to the animal shelter and buy more bamboo towels. They are as soft as a baby blanket and as absorbent as a sponge. I wash them by themselves on the gentle cycle and they are holding up well.

People who complain about the thickness are missing the benefits of this towel. Due to the “thickness”, it is less of a heavy load in the washer, and it dries very quickly on a low heat in the dryer. (Money saver!!) It’s antibacterial. In over a year of bamboo towel use, I’ve never experienced that mildew/musty smell you get from cotton towels.(Nose/health saver!!) They are pampering soft, above and beyond Turkish and traditional towels. You probably know bamboo is a renewable resource. It grows very quickly and easily. (earth saver!!)But did you know that it’s strong and it makes a strong weaved fabric? Finally, bamboo towels are a faster and better absorber than cotton.At first, my husband complained about the thinness of the towel. He’s a big man and he likes the “best” (Lobster, Hotel suites, Italian marble...you get the idea). About 2 weeks later we were staying at a hotel. My husband exited the shower and began to complain, “This room must be very humid. I can barely dry myself.” I laughed. It wasn’t the room. It was the absorbency of the cotton towel. Not convinced? Here’s another example. Everyone knows the urgent response needed in a home when a liquid spills on flooring. Well, one day our dishwasher seal broke and a huge amount of water spilled out onto the floor and around the wooden cabinets. My husband and I both ran for the towels. He grabbed the old cotton towels. I grabbed the bamboo towels. I opened and dropped the bamboo towel onto one area of the large puddle. The towel was immediately soaked and the water gone. I didn’t even have to bend down. I looked over at my husband tackling the other end of the spill, and he was just pushing water around trying to get the cotton towel to absorb more. Remember this the next time your kid spills a glass of milk or your dog walks in with wet, muddy feet. (Home saver!!)So cotton is no longer “King” in my house. And people who complain of thin bamboo towels...well, they’re completely missing the point(s).[This review is honest and without compensation. I absolutely love these towels! Very soft to touch, lightweight, dries quickly, and absorbs water extremely well! Will order more! Wish I can find them in burgundy color…

Good drying towels. Thinner than what we’re use to, but good

Indescribably soft, unbelievably absorbant, surprisingly thin, and it works so well.

At first I was taken by surprise when these towels arrived. I read the reviews and knew to expect thin towels, but the package was so incredibly small. These towels were purchased for my daughter who has a tiny stackable washer and dryer so does not have the space to wash huge loads of heavy towels. The (pink) color didn't change after washing but they only got softer. If you like those thick spa-like, luxurious hotel towels that will impress guests, these may not be for you. But if you want soft, absorbent, lightweight, quick drying towels that wash up and dry quickly, give them a try! They are worth the money for sure.

This set is the perfect pale yellow. They are quite thin but do still absorb fine. Do not seem the highest quality but for the price are fine.
