Small, effective!
I like to put this sterilizer lamp in my bathroom because 1)bathroom is a germ world, 2) I hope this lamp will also sanitize my toothbrushes :D.When the lamp is on, I can smell the UV light smell....but it's not strong. So I will just close the door and let the lamp sit somewhere near my toilet. Sometimes, I place it close to my toothbrush holder. The light will turn off after a while, I am not sure how long, but it will turn off on its own. So it is safe...in case I forget about it.Overall, I think it is very good. It's small, doesn't take up any space. I put it away in my bathroom cabinet when I do use it. Since I got it, I used 4 times already. So far so good!

Initial fear was recognized
I looked forward to using this to sanitize shoes since I am diabetic and have had issues with foot infections. However, I know that the starter for an ultraviolet bulb must be of good quality and have a fair amount of voltage to start the bulb, it is designed and operates much like a flourescent tube. My though was that it was possibly a cheap starter that would not be reliable starting the bulb, and I was correct. After a full charge (it had to be a totally full charge or you were dead from the start) it would take 10, 15, maybe more tries to hold the button in for several seconds and hope the starter kicks the light on. It finally got so frustrating I packed it up and shipped it back. If you purchase one of these, you will have reliability issues before long.

Sterilize through every spaces you have.
I'm so glad to have bought this, I have always wanted to sterilize every space in my house, kitchen, master bedroom, bathrooms, daughter room, play room, study room,etc. I managed to charged and circled through every room, turned it on, and leave it running.. felt comfortable that those spaces have finally sterilized.

Small UV lamp that kills bacteria and neutralizes smells
I found this after purchasing a UV Sterilizer light for my fish tank to remove harmful bacteria and algae.If the same technology works for my fish tank, it should also work in everyday life. I placed the uv sterilizer lamp in the small guest bathroom. This uv light would automatically turn off after 15 minutes eliminating the need for me to go back and manually turn it off. My wife is convinced that the room smell fresher after a couple of uses. For me, I just liked the idea of killing harmful bacteria in the infrequently cleaned bathroom.

Great UV sterilizer lamp
I use it to sterilize my office table. Works great! I used to feel uncomfortable and got allergies because of the annoying invisible insect. I put it around my office area and left after work. l am now feel at ease and will continue use it for strongly exerting bactericidal effect and getting rid of the germ, worm, etc. Hope it could keep working.

Would recommend
Very easy to use charging takes right around an hour instructions says up to an hour and half you can get two to three uses out of it before it needs charged again. It does leave a nice clean sterile smell in the air
