Everything you could want - almost
PROS: Very easy to install, which is good because the owners manual is pretty useless. I expected problems with the distance between cameras and NVR but they are working great at 60+ feet, through multiple interior frame walls and floors. CONS: I found that when "backing up" (copying segments of video to a USB drive) that the .AVI video files that are created cannot be opened by any common viewing software - Windows Media Player, Windows Movie Maker, VLC, a couple freebie viewers all failed with an error message or just display a black screen. So if you're using this as a crime deterrent you won't be able to hand the police anything they can open and view. Another feature which is either very well hidden or just does not exist is the ability to selectively ignore user-defined areas of the image when using motion-activated recording. So if there are trees blowing around or moving traffic in the view, your'e going to record pretty much continuously, which in turn means you can forget about getting meaningful alerts on your phone. Others posting here have praised the Tech Support. My first two calls were hung up without answering, and the third went immediately to voicemail. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. The owner's manual (not available online) wants you to contact "Verna Jane" on Facebook (gee, there's a picture of her) or look at YouTube videos instead of providing any decent information. The on-screen menus are loaded with lots of totally undocumented, unexplained options. The NVR has only one USB port, so when backing up to a USB drive you need to unplug the mouse and then quickly plug in the USB drive in its place. That's not so bad after all, because even when the mouse is plugged in not all of the "options" that are presented on the screen respond anyway. SUMMARY: The equipment works better than expected, installation without Internet-based features is VERY easy, but the software lacks some important (to me) features and is largely undocumented. And don't waste your time looking for answers on Isotect's company website either (www.isotect.us), it contains nothing of much value. (If you do go there, click on the "Manuals" tab, or click the "About Us" tab and read the interesting bio's under the "Meet the Team" photos for a chuckle.)

Okay Expandable Security System, but Poor Software
I purchased one of these units in late 2019 and have found that the base unit works okay, but both the Mac and Windows software is very buggy. On Windows, I use it every day, and it crashes 2-3 times per day. I started using it with Windows 7, and am now using it with Windows 10; and it's acting the same. EseeCloud's site has the latest software update from about a year ago, so I'm not sure how well-supported it will be. Also, it won't save your last setting (like for number of screens) reliably. Sometimes it will, but not which screens were in what portal. It has a feature to download either sections or full video files, but that's iffy (sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't). It's clear they don't use it or QA the software. The Mac version has the same problem: it crashes regularly. I don't use it that much; but I used to use the web-based viewer, however it requires Adobe Flash which is now defunct. I haven't seen an update available for my base unit.I would steer clear of buying this brand. Look at others, and test them well when you get them. If you have the same problems, write a review and return the system.I had hoped to write a better review. I gave it two stars, because the base unit has been working fairly well on its own, but the real value is being able to work with the unit remotely using supplied software.

Frustrating but Great Quality
This is my first security camera so it definitely was not easy for me to install that is because the instruction is NOT very detail and clear. First, it was missing an instruction that the box is NOT wireless. Thus, an internet cable is needed to connect the box to the router. Second, the instruction to view it mobile is missing some steps. It did not say how to find devices or if it can find it automatically by clicking on automatic scanning. It got frustrating installing this. If it wasn't for my patient boyfriend, I would have not figured it out.. Seller need to update the procedures in VERY DETAIL in steps by steps with pictures preferably.

Not a bad set but........
I figure that it is time to write a review since it is 30 days after install. The Pro's: Good picture, easy setup, great night vision, longer antennas. The Cons: 2 power cords have gone out in 30 days, very disappointing for the cost of this set. Also, why put black power cords in a set of white cameras? I wanted all white cords for better concealment.Overall, good cameras, poor thinking on the cords.

Simple to install and hook up. Really nice video quality
Excellent product. We replaced a wired camera system with this and the HD quality of this system is unbelievable. Wireless signal is great. I have 2 cameras over 200ft away from the NVR (recorder) with no signal issues. I did have 1 camera that failed after 6 weeks and their customer service is top notch. A couple of quick checks and Kiki had me a new replacement delivered quickly. My father, uncle and cousin have also converted their out dated systems to this product too.

Works Great! Easy to install
After 4 months of usage I have to say I really like the system. It was easy to install and the picture quality is good. The only hiccup is the range on the signal. My furthest camera is about 60 feet away and there is 4 walls in between so the the video comes in and out. Also the App is sometimes a little glitchy and I have to shut the program down and restart it to bring up the mobile signal. Other than that I am very pleased.

Works good. Very high resolution
This system works well and has very good picture quality. The cameras are generic and are the same as most other China made systems. They just have different names on them. I had a minor problem with the software but with help from their support the problem was resolved. They are very good about helping you with any trouble you might have. Over all I would recommend this system.Update: I had one camera fail. I contacted their support and they sent a new camera the next day. I installed the camera and it worked perfectly. They do respond to you when you need support and stand behind their product.
