Nicest folding tonneau out there if you actually use your truck!
I, like most people probably looking at tonneau covers, have spent quite a bit of time looking at the different options available. My biggest factors on purchasing were:- Warranty- Durability- Ease of use- Looks- CostThese are not necessarily in order of importance, but as I am using it for a commercial application, I’m willing to pay a little more for something that will hold up and not get destroyed immediately. The installation was not as easy as some have said, but I made sure it was perfect before calling it done, so maybe I’m a little pickier than most. Either way, it’s able to be installed solo if you can lift it by yourself. Had to make some adjustments in the back to be able to open and close the tailgate without lifting the back panel. The hardware was all black so clamps and rails blend in nicely with the bed when opened. Already did a trip to the dump with it in propped up position and it didn’t budge at 70 mph. And it looks awesome, blending right in with sprayed in bed liner. Time will tell on longevity, but Undercover is pretty good about warranties, so hoping that still rings true.I bought this because you may need access to the whole bed of my truck on a whim and this cover allows that for the most part, where a diamondback doesn’t. And I actually work in my truck everyday, so if you have a mall crawler with a bed rug and groceries are the only thing going in the bed of your truck, the ultra flex may be a plusher option for you. 😉 But whichever you choose, they are good sturdy covers, albeit a little on the pricey side.

Install correctly to mitigate issues!
Recently installed on 2019 Ram 1500 new body style, so can't speak to durability. ArmourFlex cover looks awesome, packaged well. Appears the LineX coating over aluminum outer skin will provide better impact resistance against damage. NOTE: I DID NOT have to shim each rail end, at the tailgate, for the tailgate to close tightly under the cover as others have noted herein. Tailgate closes without lifting the cover. To provide a secure rail attachment, pay attention to vehicle specific instructions for proper clamp alignment. For my 2019 Ram 1500, the two-piece rail clamps (with bolt holding them together)...the one clamp must set in the top groove (not the bottom grove) of the other clamp when the two clamps are mated together during attachment. Ensure it remains in the appropriate groove when tightening the bolt on the clamp for a secure solid bite on the truck bed. Mine had a tendency to shift to the bottom groove upon tightening the clamp to the truck bed. If this happens, the rail will not be secure.

No Problems, but watch the video
So, I verified at the Undercover site that I was ordering the correct model then I placed my order. When it arrived I opened the box and inventoried then began the install. The install took me 52 minutes with a little assist from my wife, I am almost 70 and she just turned 68, so should be a pretty easy task for you youngsters. The only tools I used was my pocket knife and a 1/2" combo wrench. The pocket knife was used to cut the box open, trim the train tubes, and trim the forward seal. The wrench was used to tighten the rail clamps. I did not install the light, but it would not have been difficult, just don't think I would ever use it so didn't bother. I strongly recommend you watch the install video at the Undercover site prior to install. The instructions never tell you to install the forward seal and they do not give a very good direction for how to install the clamps they just say install. The video provides some helpful tips that will save you a headache or two. 2019 Dodge Ram - 5" 7" box - new style (6 lug Wheels)

Fitment could be better
Installed on 2020 Ram Rebel 1500 5.7 bed. First impression - meh. Pro’s: fits the bed, easy to handle. Cons: side rails have a slight downward/inward slant once clamped. I tried several times to adjust the clamps to see if that would correct it - no dice. Not sure if that’s just the way they are. Would be nice if the side rails overlapped the bed a little more and the clamps seated higher up under the bed sides. Not too much of a bite.Last panel doesn’t quite latch on the rail. Have to give it a little extra push. I have a Weathertech tailgate liner - had to trim it down so it wouldn’t interfere with the cover when closing the tailgate.Weather striping provided for front of truck bed could be wider. Might replace it with some purchased at home depot. Not disappointed, for the money the fit could be better.UPDATE: moderate rain last evening - leaked at panel closest to tailgate. Not bad. Majority of truck bed was dry. I use a rubber bed mat by Weathertech; if I had a carpeted liner it would probably be a mess.Other who have this cover report leaks as well.Still not disappointed.

Looks nice but does not seal
Looks nice. Install took a little bit. Had to adjust the tailgate end up so the tailgate would open and close. The cab side insulation went on easy but definitely wipe down the area with alcohol to clean off any wax or residue. The side seals are an area that needs attention. They do not seal at either end of the cover, on either side. They also don’t lay flat at the joints so water really soaks in there. It works well to keep items in you bed secure, but definitely does not keep them dry. I may be going back to a solid fold 2 like my previous trucks.

My Two Cents
So far so good. Two reasons I did not give it a 5 star review. 1. The rails that you install in the bed barely "catch" the bed cap. Mine is a RAM 1500 with factory installed plastic on the bed cap. Not sure if spray bed liner would allow for more surface area contact. 2. I found out that you have to install a shim (not included) towards the tailgate or you won't be able to open or close tailgate. My automatic feature for my tailgate to open wouldn't work until I installed my own shim. For the price you pay for this, the manufacturer should have redesigned the rails to accommodate with no shim OR included shims.

Bought two of these...
I bought one for my F150 and had it for a year or so then sold my F150 and bought a Ram 1500 with the Rambox, I was so impressed with how the first one held up that I bought another Undercover, great cover.
