la Bambu Bamboo Handbag with Purse Liner Insert Handmade Woven Bag for Women

I bought this purse to go with my wedding dress since I was having a beach wedding. I can not tell you how many compliments I have gotten on this purse!! At the wedding everyone was talking about how cute it was and where to get it, and when I carry it out and about I get the same reaction. People stop and stare and point and then ask where to get it all day long!The only con to this purse is it has sharp edges so if you wear fabric that pulls if it gets caught on something this purse will do damage to it. I just make sure to not wear certain clothes when I use this purse. This purse does have a small inside so if you are used to carrying brushes and makeup and a ton of other stuff in your purse this purse is not for you. I use this as my date night purse(I live on the beach) and for when I am doing quick errands(like when you only need wallet phone and keys). The blue insert is a nice touch because it stops your stuff from poking out and royal blue is my favorite color!! If you love getting compliments on your style or just love cute modern things then this purse is for you! The quality is amazing and it's worth what you pay!

I'm so excited to own this unique handbag! On my trip to New York City, the mecca of fashion, I spotted a couple of well-dressed women carrying this bamboo bag (see photos). That's when I knew I had to have one! I took the pictures so that I could later find the bamboo purse online. The shipment from la Bambu arrived earlier than expected, and the packaging included plenty of padding to protect the handbag, which, by the way, is already very sturdy and high-quality. I love how the "la Bambu" name peeks out discreetly from underneath the handle, which is comfortable to hold and swings open smoothly to access the inside. The bamboo edges are smooth and finished. The natural bamboo color goes perfectly with my straw hat, which I've worn to pair with my bamboo handbag while wearing a dress for lunch out, as well as with shorts for the beach. I ordered the larger size, which is not too large at all -- it's the perfect size to hold my clutch wallet and phone, with plenty of additional space. I believe the ladies wearing the handbag in the two photos have the larger sized handbag as well.

This is now my favorite Amazon purchase to date. I love all things boho and this fits boho chic so well. I took it on a recent vacation and I got so many lovely comments from strangers who saw it. It's unique which I love, it's made really well which is always a plus, the price is spot on and I just can't find a single thing to say bad about this. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to make a little pouch inside of it or just leave it as is. I'd definitely buy this again and I now have the small size on my wishlist for my next purchase. The quality of this is great. Easy construction, durable, reversible. However, the sizing on this item is about an inch to 2" too small in the width alone for the bamboo purses in Large (with the large liner) that are standard on Amazon. I'll likely use it for a pattern and make one in the right size. Maybe use it for the smaller size purse in the future.

I love my bag. I had seen one in a fashion show, and immediately I started looking for it. However I wanted a green bamboo one vs wicker, of which could only find wicker in a color and not in the larger size. However, I decided to purchase your bag with liner. I bought a can of spray paint and painted it green. It is beautiful and different. Not able to carry a lot but love the liner insert.

When I receive my La bambu purse in the mail I was so ecstatic. I love my purse, this one came with a insert. Trust me the insert is needed. Everytime I carry it out I get compliments. I had several friends already ask me where did I get it, so they could purchase it for them self. Such a awesome summer purse.

Absolutely gorgeous bag. Good construction. I packed mine in a suitcase for travel and was concerned it might not make it. It bent a little with how tight the bag was packed but never broke and I was able to reshape it once I arrived. It's not as delicate as it appears...good buy.

I ordered this bag for my upcoming beach trip. It’s perfect! Its holds just the right amount. I can’t wait to bring it on the beach! The bamboo is sturdy and well made and shipping was incredibly fast. I definitely recommend this purse!
