Dimmable Vintage LED Edison Light Bulb 6w (60w) - Squirrel Cage 64mm ES E27 - The Retro Boutique ® - Triple Pack [Energy Class A++]

Very very nice bulb. After looking at a mind-boggling array of LED ST64 bulbs, I bought one to try, and have just ordered another two as a result.A few points:* The 600 lumen rating seems accurate to me.* It's definitely warmer than other 2700K bulbs I have. The warmth is very pleasant, not too yellowy like a TCP "Vintage" ST64 bulb I tried. I like the warmth, but if you want something to match other 2700K bulbs you have, this might not be it.* There are lots of LED filament bulbs on the market, some in the ST64 format, but most have short filaments. The longer, chunkier filaments in this bulb make a difference; I think the light is softer as a result. Also looks better when switched off, IMHO.* From cold, there Is a second where the bulb "warms up", just like an old incandescent bulb. It takes a second for the light to die completely when it's switched off too. A small point, and maybe accidental, but it's a charming feature.I haven't tried dimming, so can't comment on that, but I imagine it would look great.So as you can guess, I'm glad I bought this :-) It's not the cheapest LED ST64, and only time will tell how reliable it is (there is a good warranty though), but it's a gorgeous bulb and definitely the closest thing I've found to the warmth and charm of an old incandescent.This is the part where you expect to find that the reviewer got the product for free in exchange for a glowing "honest" review. Not this time though, it's all pukka.

These bulbs look quite nice. They are plenty bright enough and will dim down to a reasonably low level if required. That's the good news.I had two lights for these to go in. I bought four bulbs, so I would have two spares. After just 3 weeks, one bulb failed. Slightly irritated by this, I replaced it with one of the spares. Still nothing. I then thought there was a problem with the light fitting itself, but after checking this out and using a different bulb altogether, it was clear that the fitting was fine. I tried the other "spare" and this works.So, one failure after only 3 weeks, one dead on arrival, two still working, out of four. I am fully expecting the remaining two to fail prematurely after this rather poor start. Even if they don't two out of four is still terrible.The quality control must be pretty bad. I would certainly avoid these in the future.

Bought two of these and they look great in our kitchen pendants. They are quite bright but dim down nicely so if you have a fitting that will show off the bulb (which I'm guessing is most people buying them) then make sure you have them on a dimmer. In the picture they appear to have a Smokey finish to the glass but I can confirm it's clear glass.

As others have commented, there is a bewildering array of LED filaments coming onto the market. I have tried others, but they are either too dim for the equivalent incandescent rating, or way too bright and harsh. These are the Goldilocks bulbs - just right. It looks good when off, which is important if fitted in a lantern, as mine is. Delivery from Retro Boutique was very quick. Would definitely buy from them again.

Brought this lamp for a glass globe pendant hanging in a stairwell. The bulb was delivered well packed and on time. In looks great on or off and gives a warm old fashion light that is just perfect. If your looking for a bright light this is not the one , if you need a light to give a welcoming warm atmosphere you won't be disappointed. I would recommend 100%

Great bulbs. These look good when they are off, on a low dimming setting and when turned right up. There can be a low flicking when lights are on the lowest setting, but know one ever notices when they are round. Great for all moods of lighting.

We love this bulb, it looks great in our new pendant even when it's not switched on. The light is perfect, I wasn't sure what to expect as vintage bulbs are usually dull and LEDs are usually very bright, but this is just right, easy on the eye (not too harsh like some LEDs). We'd definitely recommend it.

This is clearly a high quality bulb with big filaments which looks great in an exposed copper light fitting. I find the colour of the light it gives off a bit too yellow for my liking and we may end up replacing this with a more 'natural' bulb in the near future, but it'll do for now.
