A few years later and still kicking!It last almost my entire 10hr shift and at a reasonable loud level. It powerful enough to be heard in detail over the noisy environment a the back of the house getsand carries far in the for the front of the house duties. Good play and charge time frame. Being water resonance comes in handy in a kitchen as you can use the features then sanitatize after. It out lasted my coworker's speakers and out survived a few as well.I really have nothing bad to say. I can drop it and as long it lands on it side your fine. I can on only get it wet but clean it with chemicals, hand for kitchen life (rubber flap must be shut). Battery last long and let's you play-n-charge. It loud and can be heard in a noisy environment. Buy it again... definitely!

Really good bass and sound quality, the only problem I have is that my devices (iPhone 4 and Kindle fire hd 8.9) have pretty crappy range, I only walk like 10 or less feet and it starts cutting off. This speaker feels good in your hand but tbh it looks smaller than what it looks like in the picture.

Great little boom box that sits on my desk at work. The speaker phone is a plus and works well.Very nice sound for such a small box. I would recommend this product.

I wish this didn't fall off the boat on the 4th of July because I loved it. Awesome sound quality and I never had any issues with connecting my phone. R.I.P. little buddy

My music stream (di.fm) would cut out for a couple micro seconds every few minutes which quickly became annoying. So i contacted the company. They asked if I was listening to the speaker via my wifi and I stated yes. Their suggestion to eliminate the music gap...wait for it...use cell data. Um no, returned.

Took it to the beach for a true test. Great sound for the price. Does seem to have higher treble at higher volumes. The surf and crowd noise didn't drown it out. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the charge light stays illuminated even after a full charge. I brought it to work and a few co-workers are ordering some.

Unfortunately, this is not what I hoped it would be. The range is very limited, the volume is not nearly what I expected and in less than a week the carrying loop was frayed. I can't speak for the waterproof aspect of this speaker, as I haven't had any encounters with water, but based on the less-than-impressive performance & sound quality, I can't say that I am willing to risk it. I would not recommend the purchase of this speaker and if I had the time, I would try to return it.

I liked it, it was very loud for it's size. I liked the look of it and all. The downside was the quality of sound. I'm picky and that might have been the problem. If you don't expect reference quality sound, haha, it's a good choice. The for about the same price the Braven 440 sounded almost twice as good BUT was half as loud. Still searching...
