Not practical
The reflective panel is a mirror on both sides.. resulting in a mirror facing out the front windshield.. obviously reflecting the sun and streetlights into other driver's eyes. Wow!!

I’ve never been a fan of pressure sensitive tape, and this is one of another time. My dashboard does not have a flat plane amongst its rolling hills and valleys, so I was left with the only option provided... the dreaded double sided pressure sensitive tape. Cleaned dash and applied it and the unit on the flattest position possible in a warm setting. I should have known by the amount of time that it took to adhere that it was going to be an issue.Attached to the dash, I took my car and it’s new improved feature on a test run. First, I must say that the reflective material used on the screen is a little dark. I mean can’t see the road at night dark and barely in the daytime. An object crossing at the wrong time can be obscured. Finally, back to that hated pressure sensitive tape. The first turn that I made sent the entire unit (precious phone also) flying from its position on the dash over rolling hills and valleys to the other side and dangling by its tail.I managed to remedy that dilemma by going to my nearest automotive parts store and buying one of those rubberized phone mats that will anything in place. All isn’t bad about the unit. I did like it for its ability to charge the phone wirelessly (well... sort of. You still need to plug the unit into a receptacle). With its darker than normal screen and still occupying a receptacle, there really was nothing to gain for me.
