Good hood from a built stand point. Quite a bit noisier than i thought it would be. Not sure how to verify the flow but it seems a bit short of 860 cfm. There is some vapor going around the hood when a boiling a pot of water at high heat . Need some more options for rear vent. I had to modify mine to make it work for a rectangular rear opening. Seal around lights need improvement. I see that there is vapors going through the hood around the lights. Hope its not damaging in long run. The lights itself are extremely bright to the point that I dont use it anymore. It makes the food color on the stove not representative so if you are cooking based on visual observation with the light on it you would make a mistake. It would have been nice if they provided a dimming option or few different levels of brightness options. It would also be helpful to provide a 5000k LED build option instread of just the standard 2800k.

The fan has a 5-speed exhaust fan that in the highest setting really has a nice draw on it. Even the lower settings still draw off the steam and heat. It was easy to install but required two additional people because I was too stubborn to move the stove. There is no dimmer on the lights. We like to use a dim light over the stove as a Night Light.

Very loud on all 6 levels. Clock loses time quickly (i.e. approx 1 minute per day). Electric cord too far to the right. Should be positioned 5-6 inches from the right side to avoid 2X4 support positioning conflict. Back venting too much depth for some older vents. Don't throw out your old vent until you're sure the new one functions. Lighting improves with increased height from the cooktop surface.

Item was received with of the led lights broken. i received the the item but I DID NOT open until now . So time of return was already gone. Sad

Easy to install and the instructions were clear. Very pleased with the noise level and light brightness. The light is a soft white light and not the headache inducing type. I learned from past experience to buy an exhaust that is at least 22 inches from back to front. The added inches covers more of the front burners. It looks very stylish and expensive.

Works really well. Lights are bright too. The mounting part of the installation process will take some effort. 5 stars for function.

Mixed blessing here...very well made product...extremely poor instructions, not even a listing of the parts...zero help if you are installing this by the rear vent as I was. Don’t even think about installing this without help.

Hood was easy to install and works great. Noise is a little more than I had hoped, but not too bad. The amount of air it moves on high is awesome. We use it to ventilate the house!

I am very happy with this range hood. Good quality for the money. This unit seems to be very well made and works great. A few people mentioned that it is noisy, and on the higher speed settings it is, but for the most part the second lowest speed is more than adequate for all my cooking requirements and it is fairly quiet on the lower settings. I can’t see needing the higher speeds short of a fire on your stovetop. Home Depot sells almost an identical unit under a different name, likely both made by the same manufacture for a similar price BUT it comes with a 7” round vent opening and I require a 6” opening like this one has. As others have said this IS a very heavy unit, gives me the impression of commercial grade quality and does require at least two people to install. I made a cardboard template first the exact same size as the top and marked the holes, then taped the template to the bottom of the cabinet and screwed the mounting screws into the cabinet. Then just a matter of getting someone to help hold up the unit as you drive the screws into the pre-made holes. The led lights are nice and bright. As others have mentioned there is only one brightness setting either on or off but that is not an issue for me. Shipping was extremely fast from Amazon, after I placed the order the range hood was delivered to my door in 3 days in perfect condition, undamaged. I only installed it a week ago so time will tell how long it will last but so far I am very satisfied with this unit.

Thought I’d update this review since it’s been 7 months now. Unit arrived in good time, but package was open - like it had been repacked. There was a bunch of scratches on the stainless. It was returned and replaced without any problems - awesome seller. Unit is tricky to install you will need 3 or 4 hands for sure. Watch the you tube vids if you can find them for help on the install. REMEMBER you need to have a duplex power plug for this fan. Fan works awesome. We have it over a gas range and find that for normal cooking we only need it on level 1 or 2. Both of which are not all that loud. Ramping up to level 5 and 6 can be pretty loud, but same as all the other fan units, the higher the setting the higher the noise. If you can try to install the unit so you can use the rectangular adapter out the back and go straight out thru wall. It will help with he noise if you are worried. We tried straight thru wall, but hit a stud and had to re-route using the top access hole and used a couple 90’s. Sure am glad this unit comes with 3 different install / exhaust options.I’d buy it again if I needed another one.

Better than expected! I read the reviews here on this hood fan after doing a lot of research on others. We had a Sakura in our previous home and while the suction was good, it was excessively loud (even on the lowest setting). I’m assuming that unless you work in a restaurant with commercial grade fans, they won’t be whisper quiet like home models. My wife and I are very pleased with how well the suction is on the lowest setting and how quiet it is. We were washing the dishes and chatting and forgot the unit was running. There was no trying to speak over the volume of the fan. What was also a pleasant surprise was the engineering. The subtle slant on the inner panel funnels the steam towards the fans as they draw the steam away. That’s just fantastic in my opinion. We really enjoy the look of it, how easy it is to use and how quiet the unit is. Obviously it’ll get slightly louder on the highest setting but nothing near how loud compared to the Sakura. Yeah, we really like it and it’s quiet. One of the best purchases for our kitchen Reno by far.

Hotte de bonne qualité, vient avec une sortie ronde de 6 pouces et également un adaptateur pour une sortie rectangulaire. L'installation est assez simple, mais la sortie du dessus n'est pas assez en arrière de la hotte, ce qui fait que j'ai dû couper une partie de mes tablettes de l'armoire au dessus de la hotte. Tout fonctionne bien, mais il y a juste une seule intensité de lumière. Il y a 6 niveaux d'aspiration et pour une hotte de 860 cfm je m'attendais à une aspiration supérieure que ce qu'elle donne au niveau maximum. Bref pour le prix je suis comme même très satisfait.
