Bought brand new and they broke right away without getting to use them!!!

These leather grips were an excellent investment for my daughter. After she broke them in, she said they fit like a glove and they brought her so much comfort. Highly recommend!

My daughter has tried numerous brands of grips including custom grips over her 15 years in gymnastics and she’s used these exclusively the last five years. We had one pair break and customer service was fantastic and replaced them immediately. They do stretch more than heavier duty grips so they won’t last as long but she loves the fit so for her it is worth the trade off. She’s a Lvl 10 and trains bars 5 days per week and pair will last her around 6 - 8 weeks but she rotates pairs to extend the useful life. They lose a star because of pricing. I don’t know if that is an Amazon issue or a Gibson issue. They fluctuate significantly (from less than $30 to around $50) and often; at times every single day. So make sure when they are a good price to order multiple sets.

These are the grips our gymnastics studio recommends for the girls. I always buy from Amazon instead of Gibson because the shipping is free. Same great product either way. My 10 year old just purchased a size small. Her first pair at about age 8 was an XS. With lots of use, they do wear out but I still highly recommend. Her coaches know how to stretch the finger holes (I don't) but it always works like a charm; my daughter does not have skinny fingers!

These were my daughter’s very first pair of grips and she loves them! It took a few days to break them in but now they are very comfortable on her small hands!

Good grips, work for what the are supposed to be used for. But they don’t last long the finger holes tore about about 6 months so of use.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have ordered these for my daughter multiple times and over the years the quality has gotten worst. After two weeks of using these they broke at the wrist. Both wrist while my daughter was practicing her double lay. She could have seriously been injured if she didn’t land in the pit.
