Conny Tabletop Connector

I am impressed with this connector. I built a franken-IKEA desk in two sections and wanted something to join the two butcher block tops together so they wouldn't separate. I saw a lot of options out there, but this one seemed the most robust. Installing them is dead simple, just connect the two halves, drill your pilot holes, and then install the fasteners. The only trick seemed to be not making the screws so tight that the movable sections bound up against the wood.I contemplated dropping a star on this because the seller neglected to include the fasteners that should have came with these, but I found what I need at the hardware store so it wasn't that much of a hassle.

Just what I needed for my Festool MFT clone table.I was able to easily join and clamp two pieces of 3/4" mdf to make a portable cutting table for onsite carpentry work.Easily installed and operates flawlessly. Keeps the boards drawn together and in alignment.

As far as I'm aware, this style of tabletop connector is the only one that can be mounted on both tops with no projection showing when the tops are not connected. Thus, can be used to connect two normally-separate tables into one solid unit.

Works well. Locks the table top halves in position.
