Not worth it!
After watching Goal 1 and 2 I was expecting a great finish. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. If I had known more about Goal three before I bought it, I would have keep my money. I'm a big soccer fan and will watch almost anything that has to do with soccer, but this was not only a waste of money, but also a waste of my time watching.

Spanish Class
What I do for my Spanish class is gives them a worksheet about the movie. They need to watch the movie and listen for clues to write on their worksheets after the do this they will have to fill in the blanks with the correct answers about the movie. this is good for them because you see how they think about what happen in the movie.

It was rather disappointing. Santiago had so little to do with this movie. Had hoped it picked up where Goal II left off. Had I seen the movie first, I would not have bought it.

Fell in love with the first two, this is NOT Goal 3
First Off I loved the first two and couldn't wait to see that Goal 3 had finally came out. Bad thing was I'm in the US and it isn't realesed here. I took the chance and the blu-ray of this movie worked perfectly in my US PS3. I thought all that was good news until I watched it. Has two lines in the entire movie that even references the first two. The description on the box is a blatant lie. Santiago Munez pulls a steven seagal like in Executive Decision basically. He is no more than scenery in this movie. You follow two characters that have come out of no where and the football scenes are dreadful at best, all green screens. They are never with actual players and the game footage is just a montage of the 2006 world cup highlights. The auto mechanics from the first two have a bigger part than Santiago Munez. Glen Foye isn't even referenced in this movie! It is so sad that they had to deface and ruin what could have been a great trilogy. I will be throwing my copy in a bonfire during the fourth of July holiday. You will truly thank me for saving you the hour and a half that this movie sucks away from you and destroys your good feelings about the franchise.CaseyChicago, IL (USA)

Useless pile of drivel...
..which bears no relation to the preceding two stories about Santiago's rise to success. We should have been warned by the dismal 'to be continued...' ending of Goal 2 - the only thing that was continued was the football theme. A Santiago injury early in the film effectively sidelines him both on the pitch and in the film. There are brief moments of poignancy, but this smacks of a low budget made for tv movie which lacks the charm of the previous two films.

Worst Goal series made.
WORST follow up ever. Santi lasts for maybe 12 mins tops, nothing about his life. This follow up should have been him at least trying to change his life.Movie has horrible green screens, acting is corny, story line has nothing to do with the first 2. Barely any football. gavin harris doesn't even get mentioned, the only football player they show is Beckham and the rest of the Real Madrid team is missing and they also forgot anna freil.

A tournament too far.
Goal 1 and Goal 2 were actually very entertaining. A good mix of drama and football. A lot of the football footage is very believable. I was looking forward to the next instalment, and in Hi Def Blu ray to boot. This is unfortunately more TV drama than football drama. Blu ray didn't add anything to the party except extra cost. Very disappointing. This one is definitely not a keeper (excuse the pun). Watch it if you must.
