Wonderful for Swaddled Babies
We were using the swaddle blankets prior to discovering the Woombie and were constantly having to deal with the velcro coming undone in the middle of the night. The great thing about the Woombie is that it has a zipper so there is no re-swaddling late at night which can ruin all chances of your infant getting back to sleep. Additionally the zipper works both ways so middle of the night diaper changes are a breeze because the infants arms are still within the confines of the Woombie. I do suggest snap sleepers as this makes sleep disruption far less likely. This product as well as some of the swaddle blankets offer such a great piece of mind as you do not have to worry about loose blankets when you put your little one to sleep. Stick to the manufacturer's guidelines for sizing some companies try to suggest different weight limits etc. however I have found that the manufacturer has been right not the company selling the product on behalf of Amazon.

Great product but grows out of it quickly
Great product but grows out of it quickly, like everything else. It felt like within 2 weeks my daughter was able to pull out of this. Worked great initially and as advertised but I think we bought a little late into my daughters age and she just got strong quickly and was able to get out. I recommend this product as it does the job, just be cautious of childs age/strength in regards to how long you anticipate and hope this product continues to work for you.

Great fit but...
It was true to fit, warm, and kept my daughter's arms down. however, the zipper bunched at my daughters face which bothered me. Also, she was so bound that she would roll almost completely over. She can not roll over when awake so I know she wasn't meaning to. We decided to go with a different sleep sac at this time. Maybe we'll try this product again later.

frustrated baby...
I got the Woombie to replace a Miracle Blanket, which my 3-month-old daughter is growing out of (and which comes only in newborn - 3 month size). I was so hoping it'll work, but it didn't. It just got my baby frustrated - she could move her arms, got her hands close to her mouth, but couldn't get them into her mouth (besides, I think her arms got stuck in this position, and she couldn't move them down). The Miracle Blanket uses two levels of restraint - first the arms get pinned down alongside the body, then the baby is wrapped all around. No moving arms there. My daughter loves this blanket, frequently falls asleep on her own (some times after 5 min of fussing, sometimes right away) if wakes she up while I put her down, and always falls back asleep if she wakes up in the middle of the night or a nap. With the Woombie, she started whimpering when I put her down and the whimpers quickly turned into crying, as she was trying to get her arms somewhere, where they wanted to go.This swaddling blanket is supposed to mimic the womb. Well, maybe if you start using it on a newborn and then graduate to the larger side it would work. But by 3 months, perhaps, the womb experience is too remote for the baby to need to replicate it.

Wouldn't recomended
My baby hated being swaddled so I thought I'd purchased this because it looked like something that would keep her nice and tight, but she could still move around. We'll she was able to move her arms around so much that the fabric was going all the way up her nose. So scary! I had to go back to my normal sacks because I couldn't sleep a night. I constantly had to check on her to make sure the fabric would not keep going up coveting her nose

Great for older babies who still need that feeling of security
This swaddle blanket is AWESOME! I only wish I had discovered it sooner. I can't speak to the newborn stage as our baby is 7 months old now and we just started using this, but after one night in it, she slept 10 hours straight for the FIRST TIME! She has been breaking out of the Miracle Blanket for months, and we would have to go back in several times a night to reswaddle her, but not with the Woombie! She is our 3rd child, born 2 months prematurely, and still needs that feeling of security. Though we have attempted to transition her out of the swaddle, she will NOT sleep without being wrapped up somehow. The Woombie definitely seems to do the trick! It's cozy and snug, while stretchy enough to allow for some movement. Love it!!

A must-have for every baby
We started using the wombie from the very first day after fumbling around with blankets! The zipper makes it very easy to use and definitely made my baby feel cozy and she was able to sleep longer stretches. It is a must-have!

Great product!
I bought these for my twin when they were about two months old, and they have simplified life tremendously. It was starting to get really difficult to keep them from getting their hands loose when swaddled in regular blankets, but these are so easy to just zip them up into. They also really like the fact that they have a little bit of stretch, so they can move around a little bit without startling and waking themselves up.

If like ours your child doesn't settle naturally on their back ...
Fab product allowing more movement than traditional swaddling and so much less hassle. If like ours your child doesn't settle naturally on their back (as most children don't seem to) these are invaluable. I was sent one by a friend with our first child when he was a month old and I was tearing my hair out as he wouldn't sleep and used them till he was about 8 months old, and have used one with our daughter from birth. Not for everyone but if your child is a startler, or doesn't settle on their back easily, this could be a lifesaver as it has been for us. Expensive but worth it for sleep, and they are very good quality.

My baby hated it.
It's well made and its good fabric but my daughter hates it. Unlike traditional muslin swaddles which hold the arms in place, this allows the arms to move but within the sack so she feels trapped and struggles until I take her out of it. Disappointed that I paid so much for it, it's really not worth what they're charging. Invest in a good large muslin instead.

safed us many troubles when getting to sleep...
My baby girl is a very active one and always whacks her soother out when falling asleep and then starts crying for it, of course. So this wombie swaddle saves both of us much nerves during her daytime naps. Now when she sees it she mumbles and does not really want to go in it as it restricts her a little, but the stretchy material still allows her to move, but not whacking her soother out she falls asleep within minutes without big clamour. Great help! During the night I use a grobag, but during the day the Woombie is our best friend. And she looks soo cute in it! :D

My little girl slept sooooo much longer with this on- she hated having it put on so I'd loosely put her in it, wait until she was falling asleep when fed then zip it up- perfect! Just sad now she rolls over we can't use it.
