Great quality for price and easy set up!!!
The media could not be loaded. ***UPDATE*****I am still completely satisfied with the camera, but with the help of someone more experienced than I in the world of networking and security, I have more information for those of you considering purchasing this camera (or the 1080p). I use the Surfboard SBG6580-2 modem/router and as you can read in original post, I had to turn the firewall down/off in order to connect to the cameras from my mobile data on my phone. I have since disabled the wireless on the SB and installed a separate dedicated router (Netgear R6900P) and after a relatively easy setup, I am VERY happy to say that I now have protection AND can still access the cameras using my mobile data on my phone!! So ,I still stand by the product(s), but I enhance my words of awareness below, it's highly possible that if you are using a combination modem/router, you may have to lower/disable your router firewall. If you have a separate router, you may not have to do anything! :)Also, I left out that all pictures/videos are in SD quality...Original review follows:I bought this model after I bought the 1080p model (previously reviewed) so I could have both cameras on the same app as "standalone" security for my home meaning that I don't have a central security system. This model was just as easy to setup and operate as the 1080p model. Technically, it's easier to do the initial setup if you can connect it to a network cable, but if you cant you can set it up wirelessly.Between the website FAQ and email support, you should be able to get any issues/questions you have answered quickly and resolved to your satisfaction. I did, at least. :) I will point out there could be a little language difficulty ass the company is in China, BUT my support contact was VERY professional, understanding and patient as we each some times had to repeat ourselves to make sure we understood each other. :)I will also explicitly put in this review (like i did in my 1080p review) one item that I overlooked in the FAQ and contacted support which they were able to help me resolve: you MAY have to adjust your router firewall settings and possibly disable it. The camera has to be connected to the internet in order for you to see the videos/pictures from anywhere (although it would still record if you set it up to do so - you just wouldn't be able to see it until you returned to your own network) . This means that some routers may not allow it access to the internet - just to your own network. I had to out my router's firewall settings on "low" in order for it to not restrict access. There may be other ways around it depending upon your router. But hopefully you are aware of this potential before you buy the camera and give it a bad review because it "wouldn't work properly"...The app is easy and straight forward to navigate, especially if you are even a little intuitive. There are various technical aspects (frame rate, quality, etc.) that I didn't really see any need to change, but for basic operation, everything is all there in the app.You will want to get a micro SD card if you want to record videos, so be aware of that as well.I hope you find this review helpful and have as much success with the camera as I have had so far. It's only been installed a few days now, but if anything significant occurs that warrants an update to my review, I will do so and adjust my rating if necessary.

Video Works with App Only - SD Card Doesn't Work
The camera is solid and sturdy. The CamHi app makes it easy to configure. Problem #1 - I inserted a good 16GB micro SD card and the camera will not recognize it. I formatted it, used a SAN Disk app to format it, tested it in other cameras, recorders, laptops, but it WILL NOT WORK IN THE CAMERA. So there goes my ability to record and store data. If this camera only takes certain SD cards, THEY SHOULD SUPPLY ONE WITH THE CAMERA. I shouldn't have to do research and waste time trying to get it to work. Two-Way Audio works fine but you have to TAP THE MIC, HOLD IT DOWN, TURN IT BLUE THEN TALK. I just found this out. Overall, the alarm feature works fine and the camera seems dependable. I've been using it for a few weeks and the alarm function works well. Sometimes it triggers with no actual change in the area. Not sure what that is about. Overall, it's a decent camera. I'm just disappointed that the SD card doesn't work.

Lasted 3 weeks
I bought 2 of these and got them both set up with no problems. I could easily see videos on my phone when motion was detected. The first one I installed is no longer working. It just quit. No rain, snow or freezing temps. No excessive heat. Not touched by anyone or anything. It just disconnected and will not reconnect. I gave it a couple of days thinking it might reset itself but that didn't happen. Today I took it down and brought it in to hook it directly to my modem again to see if that would get it going. I plugged it inand still nothing. I tried to delete the camera and then reinstall it. I was able to reinstall by using the scanner on my phone so it shows the camera on my app- but it will not connect. In the app, there is a settings button next to each camera but it won't even let me get to the settings for this camera. It just pops up with "offline". So, I can't even use the app to try and find a solution. I've checked all connections, antennae, power, etc. and I can't get it to work. I'm having touble finding instructions on how to correct this problem. My 2nd one is still working fine so far but I installed it about a week after the first one so I'm worried it's going to quit on me too. Oh- they are not placed far from my modem- maybe 25 feet at the most. So distance should not be an issue. It's just past the window of return for Amazon so I'm stuck with a $50 camera that lasted only 3 weeks. It was pretty cool while it worked though! :(

Good camera, fairly easy to use
For the money, this is a great camera. Fairly easy to use. Easy to use once you get used to it. The camera never has any problems connecting to my phone. Always on when I need it. The only soft spot about it is that it takes a bit to figure out how to download it from the camera to be able to use it to post a video on facebook or to your phone's memory. Once you master that everything is great. Hence the 4 stars. The camera has been working good for months now in my carport. No complaints about quality or night vision. Does what I need it to do, and that is to watch my carport and side door to my house. I just ordered another for my back yard.

Extremely sleek and well-built!
Having bought from this company in the past and had no complaints when I seen they had a model with an audio function I jumped on it! Having bought in other brands and been disappointed with the audio capabilities and not disappointed with the camera or vice versa is hard to find one that has high quality audio capabilities as well as video! You know what I have to pick and choose with one or the other. However not with this model. One thing I have found when dealing with their company is they have amazing customer service, and they also well not put out an inferior product! Having used it I will definitely recommend it to anybody! A few of my friends who have medical provisioning centers have also recently ordered them for use in commercial settings as well due to how impressed they were with the audio and video quality. I will definitely only buy from this company in the future long I'm happy that I took someone's advice and tried them. And I am positive if you take my advice and try them you won't be disappointed either...
