Review: Works well what I need it for and would recommend if someone needs and affordable VFD! - Purchased this product Sept. 23, 2019. Installed it on 3 phase 5hp air compressor in my garage that uses typical residential single phase! It is priced affordable if and far is a cheaper option that have 3 phase ran to your house. I am a industrial maintenance technician so setup was easy for me but would not be hard for someone that read understands ins and out of electrical troubleshooting and VFDs. I run the compressor daily and this VFD shows no signs of giving up and has done no harm to compressor electrical components. Will update review if run into future problems or issues.
Review: Downgraded to the HY series because I couldn’t get GT series inverter to work correctly. - Downgraded to the HY series because I couldn’t get GT series inverter to work correctly. I really wanted the GT series, but after struggling to get it working correctly I gave up and bought the HY series instead. Tech support was useless. Between the time difference (US vs China) and the lack of a flowing conversation (wait 12 hours for each response and hope they understand what you’ve asked), you’re pretty much on your own with these. The broken English manuals are horrible, but they’re not always easy to interpret. If I had endless time to mess with it, the GT would probably work, but after 2-3 weeks I’ve had enough. Time to move on.

**Q: I have a table saw with 3 phase 5hp motor. My house doesn’t have 3 phase. Will this make the saw work?**
A: This unit requires 220 volt input (single or split phase). I have one operating my lathe, which has a 7.5 hp 3 phase motor. The drive is limited to 5 hp, so I do not operate the lathe at full power.

**Q: I powered down then powered back up after installation.  Now it is stuck in a loop where it just turns on and off in a loop.  Help?**
A: Reset to default setting, reprogram if on-off cycle stopped. If it has not stopped after default reset, call manufacturer for reset assistance or unit replacement.

**Q: Is there a vfd that inputs 230v 1ph and outputs 200v 3ph for 2hp - 5hp motor?**
A: Literally they all do. Select one for your motor size and buy

**Q: Will this give me a single phase output ?
If not,  what similar product do you have that will give me a single phase output with the same spec's**

Once I found a you tube for set-up and programming there were no problems. i did have to do it three times, until I got the hang of setting and saving the parameter before going on to the next one. Runs my 3 hp Kingston Bridgeport-clone mill with no problem. Runs cool and quiet, although you can hear the cooling fan running, but that reminds me to shut it down when done.
