I was excited to try these as we haven't found gloves yet for our outdoor ceramic grill. It's an off version of the "Green Egg" but heats up to 720°. Regular oven mitts don't work and I was very skeptical as I thought the silicone would just melt and still burn my hand. Happy to report these work great!

Great gift for my daughter to give her father. Who loves to dabble in cooking, grilling and smoking meat. Definitely seem durable, yet comfortable to put on and off when needed. Only gave 4 stars as haven’t tried out how heat resistant they are yet.

These things look huge but are very comfortable. Does resist grill heat but won't let you just hold on to a dish straight it'the over for more than 30 secs. I grill a lot...still worth it!

The media could not be loaded.  Ultimately the product works as advertised there are some features that require clarification. So for the purpose of this review, I will explain each feature as advertised in the description:1) Extreme Heat Resistant: Feature description describes the heat resistance to be proofed for heat of up 925 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 seconds. I tested this using a match is on average has a temperature range of 600-800 degrees Fahrenheit. As the video shows, the glove did withstand the open flame for the allotted time but did not emerge unscathed. There was significant damage to the outer thermal layer as shown in the image, but not even a hint of heat receive to my actual hand which was within the glove. Therefore, the glove does do as advertised and protect the user but it will take a toll on the item. The amount of damage could also be lesser as I used an open flame as opposed to a burner.2) Level 5 Cut Resistant: Advertised to be 4 times stronger than leather. This is a very difficult thing to test, so I simply used very sharp smooth and serrated knives. As the image shows the glove did receive damage on the thermal layer but the white underlayer which I believe is the "cut-proof" layer was completely unscathed no matter the number of slashes. This again shows that the product does as advertised but does receive damage.3) Soft/Dexterity/Comfort: Overall the product is comfortable and a one size fits all. However, being a person with a rather large hand I am able to maneuver my hand way more than my mother who has a rather small hand. It is however very soft and comfortable to wear.In termination, I believe the product does live up to its intentions and functions as described in the product description. It is definitely worth the price but may need to be replaced after much use/wear over the years.

Fits well on my hand. The sleev part is good length. I’ve primarily purchased this for using it when I’m cooking on my grill. I’ve also been able to wear a disposable latest gloves on top of these gloves to work on the meat while it’s on hot coals. All in all I’m very happy with the purchase.

I got these as a gift for my brother-in-law. He's big on the grill and the smoker and we benefit a lot from that! The least I can do is get him the best gloves to use as a gift. These are perfect! He loves them and talked about how versatile they are both indoor/outdoor and just around the kitchen.

After one day of use it has a home burned in the finger, says it can be used to like 900 degrees, I used these for my smoker set to 230 degrees. Now it does work I'm place of oven gloves but not for what they advertise it to be used for. Also I'm the description it says it is safe to use with knives so you don't have to worry so much about nicking yourselves but on the packaging it specifically says not to use with knives.
