Product ID: 89638861
Boo! It’s Halloween, and the Little Einsteins are excited to trick-or-treat. Children will have a great time accompanying Leo, June, Quincy, Annie and Rocket for a Halloween adventure through ancient castles throughout Europe. With each stop, the team discovers, frights, and surprising sights of this spook-tacular holiday. Building on the success of the Baby Einstein’s 93% U.S. brand awareness, Little Einsteins keeps with the unique educational philosophy of using classical music, art, and real-world imagery to engage and teach preschoolers about the natural world around them. Anchored by a U.S. Video/DVD premiere in August 2005 and followed by a much-anticipated TV series in October 2005, the Little Einsteins series is sure to be the next beloved brand on the preschool reading level. Review: Good as kids' books go - Stickers in a book - always a bonus! Great book to share at bedtime, as I've found that the more I read aloud a book just above the ability of my son's reading level, sooner he is to reading the story himself without difficulty. Halloween Surprise has become another favorite among many, a must-have for your Little Einstein's fan! Review: excellent - My son loves to read Little Einsteins books!! I try to get them in stores, but I can't. The product is like new.

A sticky treat
It's got stickers! That's reason enough for kids to like this "Little Einsteins" Halloween book. Stapled into the book is a sheet of 25 stickers, mostly of the Little Einstein characters and jack-o-lanterns. But the story is worthwhile, too. Based on an episode of the Playhouse Disney television series, it takes Leo, June, Quincy and Annie on a trick-or-treat trek through Europe. They collect candy at castles in France and Germany, the Palace of Versailles and Buckingham Palace, and learn a few things at each stop. The lessons are woven into a simple tale, in which it seems ghosts are following the four wherever they go. The plot is a little convoluted, but it's not bad. By the way, there's a similar Christmas title: Disney's Little Einsteins: Christmas Wish (Disney's Little Einsteins) .

Colorful Book That Includes 25 Holographic Stickers!
If you happen to have purchased Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - Mickey's Treat on DVD, you will have no doubt seen the engaging bonus episode A Little Einsteins' Halloween. (In my opinion, that episode alone makes it worth getting Mickey's Treat!) A softcover book, Halloween Surprise featuring the Little Einsteins is based upon the bonus episode, which follows Leo, June, Quincy and Annie as they go trick or treating to various castles around the world in order to collect candy for their costume party. Just like the TV show, this book depicts animated elements as welll as "real life" backgrounds and photos--making for a very colorful, and engaging, book! From Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Versailles (the costume party takes place in the Hall of Mirrors!), the group make their way around the world with Rocket as they try to avoid pesky ghosts that keep showing up every where! The youngsters fear that these ghosts are trying to steal their candy--but boy are they in for a surprise as they discover their identity! Halloween Surprise is a gorgeous book for the Halloween season that has the added bonus of including 25 shiny stickers. If you're looking for benign books to celebrate Halloween, as well as for encouraging kids to read, this would make a fantastic book. It's also great as a bedtime story, and a good adjunct to the Mickey's Treat DVD bonus episode.

a little wordy
Same problem I had with the other two books I bought for my nephew who is 2 1/2...the book is a little too wordy for him. I find myself making up stuff and/or skipping a lot of the text to keep him interested. This will be perfect in a year or so...
