My Philishave finally gave up the ghost after 20 years or more of loyal and dependable service. I had worn out and replaced 3 lots of cutting heads which I cannot buy anymore although this was not the problem it was the battery and the motor that gave up. Anyway to review This shaver which is only a tiny fraction of the price of a new Philishave yet every bit as good as the one I had when it was new. They have saved money by not supplying a case for the shaver and lead but the cardboard box will do for now with no problems I have been shaving with it for nearly a week now and I have only charged it once when I first got it. It will be interesting to see how many days shaves I get before I have to recharge it. Up to now it has behaved perfectly it has given me a good Close Shave and I have been able to trim my sideburn whiskers with the cutters and I am very happy with my purchase. At this price they are virtually giving them away and as long as it proves reliable over a period of time then it will definitely be worthwhile. Incidentally the product carries a good guarantee with it providing you notify the manufacturer of your purchase details.

An available voucher at the time of purchase made this shaver incredibly good value (£13.99 normally £17.99).This the first time in over 50 years of shaving I have tried out an electric shaver and I was blown away at how good it was. I was always wary of them and had a routine of wet shaving that was hard to break.It was almost as good as a wet shave without the mess that a wet shave entails. I'll use this during the week and have a wet shave at the weekend. Really recommend this for a newbie who wants to try an electric shaver but doesn't want to lay out loads of money to do so. Battery life is good and I get about 6 shaves from 1 charge.

The product looks and feels like a £70 product - it even came in a premium package! Everything is brilliant the only problem is that the pop up trimmer is not sturdy enough and also I had to buy a 2 to 3 pin adaptor, ideally the charging cable should of been a usb cable.

Himself thinks that this is brilliant! He says he's been struggling to find a shaver that worked and he liked. He's paid a fortune in the past for 'named' shavers that he's not been at all happy nor the results. This was very modestly priced (and £3 off!) and he is delighted!

this product didn't last very long all of 4 to 6 weeks then the battery didn't charge so no I would not recommend this product

Battery no longer holds a charge 11 months after I bought it. It is cheap and works well enough until the battery dies. The charge indicator has always been just on when plugged in with no indication of full charge which may be related. Trying something else next time.

Now after months of use I can say that it is practical, it shaves well, at first maybe too much since it left my skin marked, but after 3 uses it is no longer Easy to clean, quick to load and easy to use.

Very easy to use and well worth the money and it gives me a good honest shave.
