Astonish Specialist Clean & Revive Stain Remover, Removes Ingrained Tea and Coffee Stains, for Cups and Teapots, 350g

I have a metal thermos flask which I have used pretty much every day for several years to take a flask of tea into work with me. Recently, the horrible brown staining inside has really been beginning to bug me - quite disgusting. So when I saw this product, I thought I’d give it a try. And, boy, does it work!I wish taken a ‘before’ photo to show you had it did look. But you can see from the ‘in progress’ photo how the foaming product is lifting the brown stain off. And in the ‘after’ photo, the flask looks as good as new!I followed the instructions, a tablespoon in the flask and then fill it up with nearly boiling water and left it a couple of hours -and job done!It did come with some dire warnings about potential harm to eyes and emphasises hours thoroughly you need to rinse the cup/flask after using the product. I would be very careful having and if I had small children and would not advise it for elderly or disabled folk who may be a bit clumsier (I don’t mean that in a negative way, I just can’t think of another way to say it). Anyone who maybe be more likely to spill it, probably would be best avoiding this product but if you can use it carefully and safely, it’s a miracle worker.

It's fascinating watching this product work. If you think how stubborn tannin stains are in cups and mugs. You could spend an hour scrubbing with a dishcloth, and not make a dent in the stain. But Astonish Specialist Clean & Revive Stain Remover, works sort of like paint stripper does on paint. It makes the tannin stains wrinkle and lift of the inside of the cup, then slowly dissolves them into the hot water. It does a bloody! good job too. Leave it long enough, and you end up with a stain-free cup and a load of brown water, that you just tip out. For anyone, like me, who has a Vsitoo heated mug, I can confirm that this product does not damage the mug at all. The instructions say not to use the stain remover on aluminium (that's al-um-in-ee-um) to you Yanks (laughs). I went onto the Vsitoo website, to make sure that my rather expensive mug was steel, and it is, with an enamel coating on the inside. I sometimes use my Vsitoo S2 as a fancy teasmade, where I make a cup of tea before going to bed, then switch on the mug from the phone app in the morning. But that ended up staining the mug, hence the tub of Astonish Specialist Clean & Revive Stain Remover now sitting in my kitchen cupboard. Highly recommended.

I needed this 3 years ago!My partner's favourite mug has been deep tea stained, I've spent the last 3 years scrubbing away, using various methods - to no avail.One treatment of this stuff and 90% of the stain has lifted away. Mug looks brand new. Gorgeous stuff. Highly recommend.It does leave a little smell afterwards. I recommend heavily rinsing and washing after treatment before using items again.Wish I'd taken a before and after pic!

Hreat product with good cleaning power that leaves my tea stained cups sparkling clean with good shine. No discernable smell last well and was a good price

Results really were ‘astonishing’ very easy to use and now back to having sparkly white cups again. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.
