I wear this hat for work every day as a delivery driver. It's great at keeping the sun off, and the neck flap means your neck won't get sunburned. The chin strap adjusts well, so it's always just right. I have not yet worn this in the rain, so I can't speak to that yet. I just washed it, and it went through fine. Remember to wash in cool water on a delicate cycle, and air dry (no dryer). If you need it to dry faster, I suggest using a fan. Overall, it's a great hat for outdoors.

Wide brim and neck flap to prevent sunburn. Neck cord so hat doesn't blow away in the wind. Excellent fit and very stylish. Good value for the money.

This is a great summer hat for the low price I paid, lots of practical features (chin strap, neck flap, vents). Not sure about the side snaps as they do not seem positioned correctly. Overall a great value, though, only downside is that as the owner of a big head the sizing stated on the web page seemed a little optimistic -- my hat size is in the upper end of the range they claimed, and its a tight fit. I'm still giving it five stars because of overall value and practicality.

Ordered this hat for hubby. Measured his head (just over 24 inches) and checked the size chart, which said the XL is 25 inches. Ordered the XL with the idea it would give him a little extra room. When the hat arrived, the quality seemed nice, but he couldn't even wedge it on his head. My head is 23 inches, and it was TIGHT on me! So just be warned that, in our case, the size chart was off by a full 2 inches!

This is really a well made hat considering the low price. There is another similar hat minus the back flap on Amazon for 3x the price. It is basically the same hat. I like the fact that the hat is crushable so it can be put in a suitcase with no trouble. The hat size ran large. I got the medium and it was almost too big. I usually wear a large. The back flap i carefully removed. It was okay stuffed up in the hat while wearing, but would flap down when ever the hat was taken off. Overall, a good value for the $$.

I'd like to start off by saying it is difficult to find a hat which will fit my size 8 jack-o-lantern of a head. The XL does fit but if I tuck the neck shade inside it's too tight so that is getting cut off. I like this hat though as I was looking for something cheaper than my Tilley to bang around, toss in a saddlebag and get dirty. This works and looks good as well.

I bought one for the husband and one for me. liked that it has a neck flap and tie. The neck flap keeps the sun off the husbands neck and his skin burns easily. I like the strap in case there is high winds and your hat and blow away. You don't want to lose what you bought. Now we're twinsies.

Was a little small for my 25 inch head. After seeing reviews from someone who says they have a 28 inch head I am mystified. Must have been a conehead. Still fits if I pull it down tight, maybe it will stretch. Otherwise it is as expected and arrived quickly. Can't beat the price or service.
