 I have an 8 inch Damascus chef knife already but I wanted a smaller knife just for the daily task as I felt like my 8 inch blade was too long for my liking. I really like the grip of this knife as it is very comfortable. The steel used it top of the line Damascus which I very much appreciate, the blade itself is extremely sharp and cuts through anything without struggle. I made some Tuna sashimi with this knife and it cut the Tuna with ease, also the the knife passed the infamous paper cut test with flying colors. The overall knife is isn't light or heavy which is great for me as it is very balance especially right on the bolster.

 This knife is everything we wanted it to be. It is very well made and as handsome as they come. I used it the first time to make a stir fry meal .It went through chicken like silk through your fingers. I rock chopped the carrots with ease, diced bell peppers and onion and this knife made easy work of it all.. now that i told you how nice it works.. the way it looks is just as nice. Its hand pounded so food don't stick and the Damascus steel its really attractive. this looks great on our magnetic knife holder.

From the packaging to the weight this is a top quality knife. As a private chef and restaurant owner a good quality knife is a must. This knife has exceeded my expectations and is extremely sharp. I tried it tonight at work and from meat to produce this knife worked flawlessly. It is well balanced and slip resistant. I will be purchasing more and even buying a set for my house.  Very well made knife. The knife was a little heavier than expected, but not to heavy to use. The knife came in a very nice box and was well packaged. I love how the design looks on the knife. The handle is comfortable and fit well in my hand. The blade is nice and thick. I did try out knife on a few items and blade was extremely sharp.

This is my first damascus steel knife, it feels very solid and balanced in the hand. The knife is sharp, beautiful and a great deal at this price point

I really like this knife. It’s comfortable to hold,well-balanced and of good quality. Unfortunately,this is the first time I have ever purchased a knife which arrived in such a dull condition,more like a butter knife than a cutting tool. Surprising, since the maker touts the sharpness of the blade and that it will hold an edge for a long time.
