Screen Replacement for iPod Touch 5 5th 6 6th Generation Black Full LCD Digitizer Display Assembly Kit + Advanced Repair Tools Set

I was initially hesitant to purchase this without any reviews. I liked that it came with the tools however all of the plastic tools broke while using them, the only thing useful was the screwdriver. The instructions only explain how to take the old screen out. It should suffice to go in reverse order with the instructions to install the replacement but I was unable to get the screen seated-in properly to the case and am wondering if more thorough instructions would have remedied this. Overall I give this screen 4 stars as it works good and have no complaints on the display quality.

The tools in this product were very flimsy and one (the suction cup) didn’t work well. The instructions helped a little but didn’t help complete the project. My screen replacement went well but my device worked for a moment when it was completed and then went completely black. My suggestion is to pay a pro. to install the new screen (which isn’t really recommended) or just buy a new device.

Bought for a ipod touch 5th gen. Decided to rate because of the lack of ratings on this item and questionable ratings on other similar products. Fitment, clarity, and touch responsiveness all seem normal from what I can tell. No odd lines or dead pixels anywhere in the LCD anywhere. I would recommend this to anyone looking to repair their ipod. My only complaint was the included saftey open tool was rather cheap, the tip snapped trying to pry out the battery. But the product itself gets 5 stars.

The LCD comes in a really good packing, all the tools and the manual are complete. Since I have done several repairs before, it takes less than 30 mins to make it done. Sensitive touch and high-quality display. I really have to give thumbs up for the magnetic screw mat, it is so helpful when you do the repairs, you just place the screw on the mat where the pictures of the iPhone screws have already pinpointed, it saves a lot of time and energy to remember where the screw belongs to.

I got the original screen off without any trouble, but once I got inside the ipod, I had a really hard time between watching videos and actually unhooking things. I ran it down to my local screen repair guy and for a minimal fee he finished the job. Works great. Looks great. Just like a new ipod where I thought I'd have to throw it away.

I ordered the screen kit because my old screen was cracked after being dropped. I personally didn’t repair it myself, my son took it to a place inside the mall that charged 35$ to repair it, and it looks brand new! This isn’t my first one I ordered, the other one was black, but both had the same outcome.

It was easy to install. The screen feels thin when I installed it. the white paint came off on the inside within a week. The screen cracked but the screen protector on top DID NOT cracked when I dropped in on my desk. looking for something else.

Main issue was the instructions, they were not laid out the best.. not a bad product, and may have worked if our Ipod was not so damaged.
