Acorn Men's Slouch Boot Slipper

First, I made the mistake listening to one reviewer that I should order one size up. I usually wear a 10, so I ordered a large (10.5-11.5). They ended up being way too big (for me). I returned these (thankfully free returns) and ordered a medium. They are perfect. I usually don't wear socks - actually I hate wearing socks (at most footies) and these are THE most comfortable slippers I've EVER worn. So nice. These keep my feet warm as well as my ankles and up my calf (a short distance). These are the "slouch" design which do not constrict my calf like socks. I read many reviews the standard Acorn slippers (leather bottom and standard cuff) are very tight around the calf. So, these are perfect for me. They're warm, have a fairly substantial sole (which I can wear outside), and loose fitting around calf.

The men in my family will not wear house slippers. They will where their shoes all day to keep their feet warm or clean but house shoes are a no-go. So I started looking for a sock kind of thing and there was the "Acorn Slouch Sock slipper". Ordered four pairs in large and medium and they ARE BEING WORN whenever the guys are are at home. They tell me that the sock slipper are warm so they don't have to wear socks with them. They tell me the sock slipper is comfortable with the gel insole and the slouch fit. But best of all they tell me the sock slipper is so durable that they can where them outside as well to check the mail, bring in the trash cans, etc. so they don't have to put on their shoes. Hurrah! Win, Win for men's Christmas presents or Father's Day or birthdays. Best for me is reasonably priced and the sock slippers are being used! Men are so difficult to buy for I guess that's why I got so excited about this buy. Now, I want a pair!

These are the type of slippers I had years ago in Minnesota. They are so much better now. No itch no discomfort and they slip on easily and stay. They were always the best slippers but now they are the bestest.

My husband’s third pair. Absolutely loves them! Warm, cozy, comfy and affordable for their endurance! Last pair-which he uses for quick jaunts to get wood-are over three years old. He wears a size ten shoe so bought a medium and they are a perfect fit! Highly recommend purchasing these and Acorn is a brand you can truly count on!!! Enjoy!

These Acorn slipper socks were a 2023 Christmas gift to my husband. He is very happy with the style of slipper, but after wearing them for just two weeks (today is January 5, 2024), the stitching around the top of the sock on both slippers has come loose. For the brand and price, this is very disappointing.

Besides being just the thing to go to the mailbox or the back porch to get more fire wood, these slouch lounge boots will keep your ankles warm a foot up your leg.Before trying mine on, I checked all the seams and areas that would be higher stress or wear points. Seams were all well sewn. The upper is a thick wool/poly blend with a nice suede toe cap and banding. The sole is rubber.My normal shoe and boot size is 11.5-12 regular, so I ordered the XL (12-13 US) and I'm glad I did.I'm wearing thick boot socks with mine and there's plenty of room.I like that memory foam inner sole, too. These aren't made to wade in snow or wet grass with, but I wouldn't hesitate to jump in the car to run to the corner store in them.The box tells the story of their designer here in America, but the box showed made in China.If you don't mow the yard in these or go on a deer hunt, they'll probably last forever lounging around the crib.They came real fast and were well boxed.

I am returning these shoes. They are super loose in the ankle. They have a rough seam where the leather meets the wool. It hits right across the top of the toes and is like sandpaper with every step. Terrible product.

To LOOSE for me to WALK-IN. Me, DISAPPOINTED.•••Used TRIAL PURCHASE for first delivery = to large (my error). So I purchased a SMALL size. Found WIDTH is VERY WIDE = to LOOSE for me to walk in. Sad. (I think, width of sole is same for both SMALL & LARGE size Acorn men’s slouch boot.) Bill•••I have purchased 20-30 pair of Acorn mens slipper socks over 30+ years. (I would purchase 10 pair at a time, and wore them until I needed to purchase more.) I LIKED, ENJOYED them: WARM, COMFORTABLE during cool/cold months. PROBLEM: TOE BOX/TOE CAP did NOT provide enough suede to COVER my toes. So my BIG TOE stuck through the rag wool EVERY TIME. After toe hole became large, I threw away the slipper socks.

Comfortable, warm, versatile, sturdy. I wear these all day at home: walking around, at rest or at work, sometimes outside to fetch the dog, and yes asleep, even in the bed. Particularly fine when it is cold - 'made for the Canadian winter', to steal that marketing hype. Don't recommend these for exercises though, especially if running on the spot. Otherwise these are superb wear. My feet are always happy. I had one pair for two years of constant use until they wore out. This purchase is my second pair.

Purchased a pair of Acorn slippers, after just over a month the slipper elastic broke, as Dinan for a replacement or refund and they hid behind Amazon’s 30-day policy. Poor customer service, different sales “managers” would contact me giving different answers, one minute I couldn’t get a refund, then another answered that I could get a refund, then a partial refund, then no refund offered. Ridiculous service. Product is great, if it wasn’t broken but avoid this company
