Nice product - would likely buy again
I owned this case for 11 months (purchased Feb 2019), which is fairly normal for me. I charge nightly and end up using daily because I use my 6s Plus a lot for business. Most people do not burn through battery capacity as much as I do, so a battery case is a necessity for me. 1 months usage for me might be equivalent to 2 months or more usage for others. So you might get two years or more of life to my ~one year.As happens with most battery cases I have purchased:1. The apple charge port on the case gets to the point that the average apple charge /sync cable falls out. It is a crisp solid connection when new but over time, gets worn out. This seems to be a common problem across vendors, cases, models so just something that happens I guess. No lost stars for that.2. The case eventually got to the point that I was removing the phone and re-inserting into the case every other time I needed to charge the phone. I have had this with other cases and other vendors. Might be an Apple problem, but happens a lot here lately making me thing it might partially be a case issue. Ease of use gets a hit for the increasing number of times this has been happening for me since that increasing incident rate feels like a likely case issue.I liked:1. Activated carplay on my Kenwood DNX573S if the chase was in charge mode, actively charging my iphone while case was plugged into the radio. This is an “unadvertised” feature as his listing says it is not compatible with carplay. Maybe I just got lucky.2. 8,000 mah was sufficient to maintain charge on my phone even while videoing my kids weekend ball games and occasional play. Most other parents only got short clips, I could record the whole game and still be charged for phone calls or for letting my young one play games on it.3. Designed by vendor apparently based in UK. So his English is great on documentation and in print on the case. I like to support people who care enough about their products to ensure the language of their materials is grammatically correct and actually understandable.Dislikes:1. Heavy, which actually made phone slip out of hand a couple of times while trying to open doors, etc. It needs a little more texture on the sides and or bottom to “catch”.2. I really don’t like the two piece construction where a top piece comes off to remove the phone from case. Over time that part wears out and comes apart when you don’t want it to. I have had to search for that piece in the couch and in pockets several times. You don’t realize it is gone until it is.Overall, a nice item that is above average among battery cases and I will probably buy again. I have gone back to a unibody construction case from another vendor I bought from prior to this one which has 8,500mah capacity for now. I would recommend the Never Run Out case to others as the issues I have described here are fairly common across vendors. I haven’t owned any brand of battery case yet that I could give 5 stars to, or really feel good about a 5 star rating. (And I have purchased several from different vendors for different phones - including Mophie battery cases, which are way overpriced for the value and capacity). Give this “Never Run Out” case a shot, you will likely be very satisfied with it.Note: I have answered two questions related to this case so browse the questions section for more details on Carplay feature and “case won’t charge phone - reset” procedure.

A great device for the money.
With this device I don't need to charge my phone so often. With the case/phone fully charged, I can recharge on the go and get about 3 days use before needing to charge up again. There are only two small problems: This case (and many others I suspect) is just thick enough that I cannot connect a lightning headphone dongle to my iPhone 8 Plus (this phone has no female output jack) because the lightning charger doesn't penetrate my phone far enough for the phone to "see" the headphones. I solved this by purchasing wireless headphones, which I highly recommend for anyone with a newer iPhone without a headphone jack. The second problem was that this case started getting hard to charge after about 6 months. It became very sensitive to how the lightning power cord is inserted, and it can sit and not charge when you think it is charging. Fortunately, Tal Porat, [email protected], stands behind the product and has arranged for Amazon to send me a replacement.

First case was a bad unit, but demonstrated great customer service.
Ordered this case last week, and I think I might have gotten a bad unit. It wouldn’t charge the phone while plugged in, and later charges the unit itself refused to charge properly. Let’s be realistic though — even in today’s technological wonderland, it’s not reasonable to expect that a production line is going to be 100% perfect. What IS perfect is Tal’s customer service. I contacted him, and within one or two days he had a replacement unit on its way to my door.If his product quality is as good as his customer service, then I expect that this second unit will work perfectly. I will update this review as soon as I receive the new unit and have a chance to test it.Original review score: 2 starsFingers crossed and amazed at Tal’s responsiveness, new review score: 4 stars

Best solution for extending phone's power
When I'm on vacation, my phone is used non-stop -- Google Maps by foot (really power draining application), reading recommendations on restaurants on Yelp, TripAdvisor and others, foreign language translation, general information from the web on the sites we visit and loading and sending pictures over. As a result, the battery is exhausted usually before noon. Finding electric outlet to charge the phone is really not practical. Even when walking in New York, request to hook one's phone to an outlet in a store or coffee shop is usually not complied positively -- and even than -- you have to buy some service from the place and wait for long minutes for recharge. The problem is worse when traveling abroad -- you have to use outlet pin converter just to hook up the USB electric outlet. I bought "fast" portable power chargers and they are not as fast; I had to hold in my hand a chunky battery connected with short cable to the phone and it was really annoying. I bought the backup battery charger case as an option before our recent vacation to Europe and found to be the best solution.

This product almost killed me!!
The media could not be loaded. This case did last for about 6 months, however it did explode in my pocket and almost ruined my entire day. I do high rise window cleaning for a living and I hang from skyscrapers, although I was at work at the time, I was very blessed to have not been hanging over a building when it exploded because it could have been fatal for me, and that would have sucked. Also, I was not able to charge my phone while the case was charging. I had to take my phone out of the case every night and charge my phone and the case separately and it took a solid 10 hours to charge the case. With that being said, the case did hold a good charge and I was able to fully charge my phone about 2 or 3 times per use. Also, it wasn’t to awesome on the “phone protection” side of things. It left a lot of open real estate on my phone for it to get damaged if it ever fell! All and all, I reached out to an attorney and we’re going to be discussing my options pretty soon!
