800w Chrome Thermostatic electric element towel rail Radiator conversion kit with timer

Ideal for supplementing towel radiator heat in the summer when central heating is off. Its not only in winter that you need to dry towels and flannels. Found a 400w model more than adequate as heats up quickly and offers various levels of heat. I did not use T piece but bought a separate 3 way valve to provide a neater job and so I did not have the extra length of the T piece to contend with for inlet pipework.Have not used timer function as linked into separate wall mounted timer (Timeguard FUSED SPUR TIME SWITCH 7 DAY).Only slight problem experienced with installation was getting the dial to face forward when screwing into the radiator as when screwed fully in it faced backwards! Cured by judicial use of PTFE sealing tape.

Really good product. Was a bit worried it wouldn't heat the whole radiator up to the top, but it got really hot all the way up.. very easy to use with light up dots to show what heat it is on. Will be buying again for my main bathroom. So much better than having soggy towels in summer when the heating is turned off.

Delivered quickly and works perfectly - am a big fan of these heating elements and have 2, one duel fuel and one electric only and both work brilliantly.

Fitted perfectly into my new bathroom radiator. Not yet tested the functionality as the electrician is completing the connection in two weeks.

Very pleased with it so far. The 2 hour facility is very useful as otherwise it's easy to forget to switch it off.

Well packaged & promp serice.Fitted to my daughters towel rail so haven't heard back yet but I was very satisfied on testing it as I didn't fancy draining the system if a fault occurred.
