If you’re going to buy a Degu, this is a must-have. There’s no doubt you’ll be an expert when you’re finished with this, and your new pet will thank you for it!

This book is very well written and provides not only detailed care, but a clear understanding of the species, where they originate, and what to expect with ownership. There are great health tips, the supplies you will need for degu care, buying tips, breeding information, legal information on whether it is legal to own one in your stage, requires a permit, or is illegal.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering or already owns a degu, it is a very complete guide, and written in easy to understand language.

I purchased this as a second reference book on Degus and I'm very happy with it. It offers information in a very clear manner and it is a easy read, so a good choice for a child with a pet Degu. Information is easy to find within the book.
