My wife introduced this kind of device to me when I offered to take over the pie-baking in our home. (I'm retired!) They work well in that it is easier to transfer the crust to the pie plate when it is attached the plastic than if it is just lying on a floured work surface. It is easier to tell exactly how large the circle of dough is. One still has to put enough flour on the bag to keep the dough from sticking to the plastic

Simplifies rolling dough for those who, like me, don't know how.I spray the inside with oil, then put in the ball of dough, pat it down, and roll to even. It may help to put in freezer a few minutes to help crust separate without breaking.

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I made a tart crust in the food processor, put it in the bag, rolled it out in a nice even circle, and into the fridge it went. A half hour later it was hard. I placed it on the tart form and let it soften a few minutes, and carefully pushed the dough into the curves. Easy peasy.

I don't make pie crusts very often but when I do I struggle with rolling out a round crust. These bags made it very easy for a novice like me make a top and bottom crust. I use the large one for the bottom and the small one for the top. Couldn't be any easier.

I found this brand to be useless. I haven’t tried other brands but I can tell you (1) the seam/zipper insides got gunked up; (2) it recommends cutting circles of wax paper to line the inside. So why not just use wax paper without the form; (3) removing rolled dough was tricky so it didn’t help for shaping. I prefer leaving positive reviews, but also like honest feedback.
