this is equal to if not better then the old satya sai baba nag champa from the 80s and 90s that you all remember before it started to suffer from poor quality control, im very strict about what i burn, from the first moment i opend the package, i knew this is what ill burn for the rest of my life. best quality nag champa in the business hands down, do yourself a favor and pick a bag or two up, better yet to buy it directly from their website. Anyone who says this doesnt smell good, or leaves a negative review, must have a terrible sense of smell, or doesn't know what they're talking about, this nag champa, their royal champa and sandalwood supreme sticks are the greatest on earth... and ive tried many great brands...

I splurged and bought these for myself instead of. my usual Agarbhati Naag Champa. And really, the smell is quite different. I love both, but this is definitely a more gentle and transporting scent. So, I would've continued buying these, except for the fact that everyone that I pick up has pieces falling off it. So for the price, you are actually getting less because the burn stops when it hits those broken areas. Shame... it's a lovely scent for sure. :(

Some of them smell like burning tires

I think this is the best snake flower incense readily available in the US today. It seems like Golocka, shantimalai and especially Blue box sai baba have all completely ignore darbari style incense making. Nag champa that was once a great scent for music and meditation has now been reduced to a coconut spice smell. So now when people ask about ‘what smells so awesome?’ Either go through the 30-year history of how bad nag champa has gotten or just tell them it’s Surya brand and to try out their snake flower or nag champa.
